The matcap layer is pretty revealing. Something is there for sure! I liked Tim Taylor's wondering if a hydrologist was the first person on a Roman building site considering how important water was to their way of living, makes a lot of sense to this layman. Am wondering where the water is on this site.

Hrm, I see hints of some interesting parch marks among the 'zig-zagging' plow lines. Maybe a dry (or wet) stream bed meandering through, too. Curiouser and curiouser...
