The video features two interesting Roman coins, a nummus from the reign of Constantine II and a silver denarius.

Post-Excavation Update
Post-ex analysis is still ongoing for both of Time Team's recent digs. This is typically a complex and time-consuming process, involving the insights of a wide range of experts in various disciplines, which are then collated and compiled into the final report. We'll be sharing much more information on specific finds, trenches and developments as the process progresses, so please watch this space for further updates.

It’s great to see these finds up close and be able to view them on Sketchfab. I began to wonder what this coin would have looked like when in use and I decided to make a digital model - using this find as reference along with images of other finds of similar coins. I don’t claim to have created an exact replica but I hope I have shown what a coin like this may have looked like when in use. As a quilter and fabric artist, I like this question! Once in a while, there's a mention of looms, yarn weights and of course, Victor's drawings. It'd be excellent to have Naomi's take on how and which plants were used in various settings and stages. I recall Stuart talking about his Mom and the toll working in a mill took on her and all the workers. Such a personal context for the textiles and the mill show.

I have one for Naomi about Neolithic use of plant fiber and possible dye and weave exploration. Hope I can post a link. Fascinating use of plants in Okinawa and China led me to wonder what plant fiber or dye knowledge has been lost. Can we do a selective pollen search? The plant looks like Nettle?
