The sudden passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, has been a sombre occasion for many of us here in the US too. It was a shock to hear that Her Majesty had passed, but it was also somewhat bittersweet, in that she did so at Balmoral, where she wanted to be. Now she is with her beloved liege man, her husband Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. I personally had a good cry over the loss of such an incredible Human Being and Woman. The loss of Her Majesty will be felt keenly by the majority of the planet. She will be missed by all.

It was, for a while back in the 50s. Might come back now.

As a Canadian, I was always proud to have her as our Queen. I shall very much miss her Christmas message. It was a tradition of ours to sit down with Her Majesty every year. I do hope Our King continues to speak to His people, but it will never be the same.

I was in disbelief when the news was finally announced. She has been such a rock to the UK and such a positive image for the world. She is now able to rest with Philip, Margret, and her parents. My condolences from Qatar.
