Derek and Lawrence, you are a hoot and half! I'm looking forward to interviews with Matt, Helen, Stuart, John, and well, just everyone. Thanks.

Melissa Rybb

Thanks for answering. I'll miss her on these digs.

I do enjoy watching several times- basically, I'm still 8 at heart and VERY excited!

Zoe Propper

Anyone else watch the videos more than once? Once to listen to the updates with Derek and Lawrence, then again focusing on the background to see who is there and what you can spy on in the trench πŸ˜„

Ann Wagner

Are you folks getting response from young people to this years and last year’s digs? Is the Time Team effect again bringing people into the field? I hope so!

Michael O'Connor

She's doing a book tour.

Allen Micheal Hope

I assume that's Kerry. An interview with him about setting up the site what be great.

"Blade" McMicking, D.I.

Weird question for you: is Matt in any way related to Phil? There's a similar vibe, in a weird way, if I squint. :D

"Interviews coming out of our ears", Must be my skewed american humor from lots of Monty Python. I thought I heard REARS. Ooops 😬

Olivia McGerty

Really enjoying these catch ups from the morning into the evening! Makes it feel like I’m almost there.

Rachel Greenham

I suspect he was making a "Grandfather's Axe" reference/joke, substituting the shovel. See also "Ship of Theseus".

David Boon

Looking forward to the questions tomorrow. Also hoping for a few more hints on the archaeology.

Robert Boudreau

Question for Matt: In the first new dig, he held up a shovel and said "Got my grandfather's shovel." The shovel looks amazingly like Phil's old shovel. Coincidence, or is there some other, special meaning?

Melissa Rybb

Where's Natalie? Didn't see hide nor hair of her in any vid over two days!

Richard Linley

Any chance for an interview with whoever makes health and safety "down tools" (or similar) decisions?

Question for Helen and Jackie - what clothing do you consider essential for "appalling weather conditions" and where do you store it, both on and off site
