How to access the event:
If you’re not already signed in, you’ll be prompted to log into your account.
If you do not already have a free Crowdcast attendee account, you’ll need to create one.
If this is your first time attending a Patreon event on Crowdcast, you’ll need to link your Patreon account to your Crowdcast account. When you click ‘Save my spot!’ on the linked registration page, you’ll see a prompt to sign in with Patreon.
Clicking the prompt will redirect you to the Patreon website where you can log into your Patreon account if you aren’t signed in to Patreon already.
Next, you’ll be asked to authorize Crowdcast to view your Patreon account. This is required in order to link and verify your Patreon membership to Crowdcast for this Patreon Exclusive event. Click Allow to proceed.
If you are already a patron at the 'Digger Crew' Tier or above, you’ll gain access to the event. If not, you’ll need to upgrade your tier and try again.

Fyi WaPo just suggested a Patreon membership as a good last minute gift. Only 3,000 digital subscribers to WaPo tho.

Thanks for your reply. We understand and so appreciate TT. One reason I will work with crowdcast this week is to offer more corrective info to the platform. If it is a U.S. ISP problem, a fix will be a challenge. Struggle is a validation of life. Happy Solstice.

Hi Ann, we're very sorry to hear of the issues accessing the live session, and we are also working with both Patreon and Crowdcast to iron these out for future. Livestreams are an exciting addition, but also technical challenge (particularly when a members-only event via Patreon) and we're reviewing options to make it as smooth as possible. We have just posted an unedited replay of the event as a standard YouTube video, so that you can watch it back. Thanks again for all your support.

Thanks for replying, I was trying to join on the iOS app. When I clicked the link to join it gave me the choice to join via the app or browser, if I went to the app I was stuck with a spinning circle, if I chose the browser I was stuck at a login page. I have used Crowdcast before, I log in with my google account to make things easier but this seemed to complicate things even more.

Hi David, Sorry to hear that you were experiencing issues joining the event. Can I ask which browser or device you were trying to join with? As some have said Chrome is best for that platform. Crowdcast sent me an access link earlier this week but I was never able to sign in separately so watching the replay is out. Working with them next week to unravel this. It was not easy, obvious, or automated or, to quote another on the live cast, it was a pain. Hope they smooth it out because it is a great tool. Last year crowdcast sent me endless spam after I signed up for my "free account" so I or my ISP may have blocked it as spam. Will let you know diagnostics. Long, sorry.

Hi David. Like you had trouble 'registering' and have given up. I fail to see why simply logging into our Patreon 'Time Team' account cannot be used to give us access to such live events. Rather than having to create multiple cross-platform accounts (I have lost track of how many such accounts I have), to view content that should be accessible via a single point of access. Even if you have successfully register to create a Crowdcast account, they then use our Patreon details to verify that we are Time Team Patreon's to authorise our viewing of the live event. Oh Well, it looks like I shall be forced to wait for the replay. That said. MERRY CHRISTMASS, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Trying to register for the event, open the link to Crowdcast app and all I get is a spinning circle??? I’ve registered before and can see the past events so no idea what’s going on.

I am having trouble setting up my crowdcast account. When I tried to set up my account, I received an error message. Part of the problem, I'm guessing, is that I did not fill in the last two boxes, the first one of which asked me what my channel was. I don't know what my channel is. Does anyone else know? And further, what do I put in the second box?

I finally managed to get in with the "Use login link" option. It then suggests to set a password to make it easier for next time, however the "add a password" option requires to enter an "old password" that does not exist, so that does not work. Anyway, I'm in!

Still having problems as my password set up is not working. Posting to help others if they are having issues. I am on current MS using Firefox on a desktop. One more try then I give up.

The help geeks at crowdcast sent me a link direct so I think I am set up. None of the stated set up worked tho.

Not working for me tho it did before. It will not send a new password (prior was automated security one). If I try to set up a new account or change the automated security password, it says my account is already in use. So I am looped. Inquiry sent to crowdcast.

I had trouble doing it from my phone, but when I used my computer that I watch last year it was able to log into my account after doing the "forgot password" option.

I remember it worked for the previous live sessions, but this time I don't see the "Sign in with Patreon" option when clicking on "Save my spot!". I just get a regular login form.
