This is shows the plan of a hut outlined in brick.
Compare this with the model for Trench 1 (CLICK HERE) to see how the construction methods and materials varied.
One theory is that the different constructions represent two separate phases of building in the camp. The brick-built huts (Trench 2) represent an earlier phase, while the huts built on concrete pads (Trench 1) represent a later phase, when materials and time were scarce.
