Update and upcoming releases...

As usual, it's an incredibly busy time here at Time Team HQ, so we wanted to share a quick update on some of the activities coming up in the pipelines.
- Mortar Wreck: The Expedition Crew returns, as Derek and Lawrence join a dive on a 13th Century shipwreck with a fascinating cargo. Look out for the trailer and release details very soon.
- The Next 3-Day Dig: As announced in September, we've been exploring the history of West Country villages with interesting links to North America. We'll be joining a wonderful local community for some classic back-garden archaeology. The dig is just around the corner, with Dig Watch details to follow soon. In the meantime, we'll be sharing an earlier 'Site Wrestle' session, when Dani Wootton, building expert Dr Richard Parker, and Tim Tayor put it to the test.
- Anglo-Saxon Cemetery: Finishing touches are being put on our recent Norfolk dig, with an exclusive Day 1 preview ahead of the main YouTube premieres, plus the aftershow live session, right here on Patreon.
- Digging Band of Brothers Special: We know you're eager for this one! The premiere is being lined up to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the 506th arriving in Aldbourne, with a Patreon preview ahead of the main release.
- Classic Specials: It's almost time to start releasing our Classic Specials from the vaults, with one per month on YouTube, plus an extra episode per month exclusively on Patreon for an initial period.
- Vision, Feedback and Review: As we continually review and refine our offering, we love to know what you think to ensure we provide you with the best content and access. We have ambitious goals and an exciting vision for the future, and want you to be part of the process. Look out for an upcoming post asking for your feedback.

Hi Ann, many thanks for passing this on. Each member's feed may be configured slightly differently depending on the device/browser/app being viewed on or how your personal notifications are set up. The main Mortar Wreck episode was posted publicly, directly through YouTube and shared in our wider email newsletter, whereas this post is a Patreon-only post. This update never came into my Patreon TT feed while "Mortar ship" today Juine 10 came in inviting me to join Patreon and no connection to this member site. Noted another had a similar experience. Confusing.

I watch them whenever access is available on my streaming services. I recently mentioned the Viking boat burial and long house digs on Fetlar S10E4 in a paper I wrote for a Cambridge undergraduate certificate course in Archaeology. I really enjoyed following up on what had happened since that dig. Was disappointed there appeared to be no published reports available. Though I found some useful info through the local museums. The magnificent tortoise brooch was especially significant in the context of my essay subject. The special about the Viking hoard at Aldwark also led me down a fascinating if not frustrating rabbit hole. So many TT episodes of the past have been helpful in my studies on the Archaeology of Ancient and Historic Britain. I'm sure that will continue with each new dig you do.

Does anyone know if there is any plan to cooperate with the Victor Ambrus estate to come out with a book of his work for Time Team either to help support the new digs or even just for the benefit of his heirs? I bet a lot of us buy a large quality coffee table book of his work tying them to the sites for which they were drawn.

Regarding the last point, I think you all are doing a great job with your social media (I see you here, on Facebook, and Instagram). There's something on FB/IG every day, but it's never too much and it's always interesting. It would be nice to see more of this kind of post relating to upcoming releases/schedules. The Saxon dig seemed to have disappeared (just based on how things were released last year), and so it's nice to see that it's coming soon! Keep up the great work
