I'll be frank. If Gus was more like he was in this video and less like he's trying to be David Attenborough, it would be great. I do very much like how he presents now, but I think the greater energy and humor (and more relaxed nature!) he showed here is better.

I found it hard to concentrate, with the magnificent view of Corfe Castle to gaze at in the background! That hill the castle is set upon is extraordinary. It looks like a giant constructed motte, but it's apparently a natural feature.

Interesting views on the transition into the Roman Briton from the Iron age . Conquest or not ? . Certainly the Romans / European's were trading with some of these Iron age tribes along the south coast for an extended period of time BC / AD ,and being welcomed, as already mentioned... . TT can you unravel the history for us please . Excellent start thank you

You mentioned the name of one of the local Dorset tribes at the time the Romans came. Do we know any of the tribal history before the Romans arrived? Presumably it was the Romans who started writing down the names of the tribes? And did the tribes just sort-of fizzle-out and turn into Celts or Saxons once the Roman left (or integrated/fizzled-out)?
