They have a searchable pdf version to type a keyword, the link is in the description… 🤓

Martin Kilner

Also they have done a searchable pdf version, link is in the description, I did a quick search for you but only one Lois was highlighted, hope that helps!

Martin Kilner

Here’s a trick, download the image, use Google photos app to search the image for keyword, found mine in seconds! 😎

Lois Pallister

When is this Flag of Fame form coming and how do I find it? Been a member for 3 years at least and not been able to find it.

Shane and Elizabeth Death

How do I find my name on the flag?

Stewart Stark

Thanks TT found my name and feel honoured to be on there. Any future plans to sell these flags? I'd love to own some kind of official version/size with my name on. I'm a very proud TT fan and supporter. Keep up the amazing work!!

Olivia Wilson

I'm by the nostril!

Ann McLeish

Found me - a proud digger !!! Get down and dirty with TT

Di

I found my name on the flag! Thanks TT. Have enjoyed ALL the Digs, extra posts, live streams, etc You have grown & improved each year. Outstanding

eela026

Hi. Thank you for clarifying. May I say that TT videos are a welcome reminder of just how enjoyable it was to watch the Team spend those three thrilling days, digging the way around the country. Long may it continue.

Time Team

Hi. Every year, we open the Flag of Fame opportunity to each and every active member from Digger Crew tier upwards. The idea of the flag is to be inclusive of all our paid supporters and celebrate the contributions they've made to Time Team. In order to be included, active paid members (Digger Crew and above) need to opt-in via the form posted on Patreon by the closing date for that year. We look forward to welcoming members old and new on the 2024 flag!

eela026

I love the idea of naming Patreon supporters on the flags, and long may it continue - although I do have one concern: You seem to be suggesting that only those supporters in the upper tiers will be eligible to have their names included. This seems awfully unfair given the ongoing cost of living crisis. Not only the crisis, but what about those people in the lowest tier who, though they cannot afford to pay regular, higher amounts, are contributing over long periods - perhaps longer than those in the higher tiers - and yet will not get the chance to be named on a future flag. I guess what I am trying to convey is the unfairness of the current system. Perhaps the organisers will be willing to review the eligibility criteria... If I have misread or misunderstood things, please accept my apologies. Great to see Time Team back, even on YouTube 😉

For everyone tis 1 against the world…..every time a video gets a click from anyone in the world TT gets a bit of funding. A PATREON member from anywhere in the world funds TT. The original was paid for by UK citizens thru taxpayers funding via BBC so perchance the original TT should’ve had a UK citizen only contest…….TT is one of the best programs EVER the current version didn’t have to happen! It did because they have fans from around the WORLD that would rather watch & support without complaining about what TT didn’t do. TT IS NOW FUNDED BY THE WORLD. I for 1 am very thankful to have TT back & in the PATREON system I get the PRIVILEGE to be part sharing history & the lives of individual humans from the Stone Age (wen Phil was actually born) till the modern age; I’ve learned that we’re still basically the same. THANK YOU TT & ALL PATREONERS.

Christopher Samuel

James, I'll respectfully disagree with you there (as a UK person who's lived in Australia and the US for almost half his life now). Time Team have done prehistoric, Roman and medieval digs in this new incarnation and for this most recent programme they were joining an existing project by Operation Nightingale, who they also worked with in at least one episode of the TV series (on a bronze age site with Saxon burials inserted in it). In the TV series they did a number of evaluations on WW2 sites too including air crashes and German defences on Jersey. There are no time limits on archaeology, its the study of human material culture. It's valuable even for the modern period because it allows you to test the claims in history.

Christopher Samuel

Thanks for this TT! Also spent far too long playing with Matt's creation on Sketchfab trying to work out what can be seen in the reflections to try and make out what he used as the setting - are those trees in the reflection? :-)

James Carter

Aye but if everyone in the country around 66 million were members how many millions live in America and Europe and all over the world that’s about more chance of winning a trip to mars doesn’t seem fair to me time team started here and was filmed for many series here and the first prizes now publicly funded low and behold goes over the pond to Americans name me a competition in America we can participate in for a prize of theirs I bet there’s none bar this…I’ll probably withdraw my patronage and subscribe to archeology magazine the “new episodes” aren’t what I call good history programmes I can ask any poppy seller for the cold facts of WW2 it’s too modern we want romans and Norman’s medieval and Tudor Stone Age there’s a whole Jurassic coast and isle on white and isle of sky Whitby coastline for dinosaurs and we get with all due respect the same old dads army programme I think normal tv should be ashamed your all not paid proper to go proper digs like the last 20 odd series this Patreon is pants there’s more history in my garden skip than these new programmes in fact I might go check see if there’s a archaeologist on there with a phone camera for next exciting full episode love on you tube on what the neighbours lived and are like a week ago ha

Time Team

Hi James, the current competition is open until the end of 22nd October. We're proud to have an amazing global fanbase, and we aim to make all competitions as inclusive as possible to everyone in the world, wherever they are located. By nature, some prizes have certain restrictions that limit where they can be shipped (e.g. alcohol) or require travel to the UK. Winners are picked at random from correct entries, to keep the odds as fair as possible for all who enter.

Larissa Spiker

Found the entry in memory of my mom! She was the one who introduced us all to TT and who arranged some very special memories for me. Under the left dot, right against the edge.

James Carter

When’s the next competition going to be out? And I think it’s a bit cheap to open it up to all and sundry ie foreigners especially when most of the digs are on UK soil there should be a prize for only UK applicants and one for foreigners otherwise what’s point of entering when odds is one against the world

James Carter

Have they announced competition yet? Think it s a bit shabby that a foreigner won it they should have a prize for UK residents and a prize for foreign otherwise what’s a odds of winning against the whole world entering

David Vickery

Found it! - searching "manually" just below the base of the "I", using sketchfab as well. Very nice, thank you!

Ceryswyn

Found mine, between the T and the I in Time. Loved the sketchfab version to interact with I was able to locate it fairly quickly.

Emily Flotilla

Found mine! Lower RH corner, last name 11th row up from bottom!

Bob Kingsmill

Our names are near the T in Time. It almost felt like cheating to use the search function ;-)

Mary-Helen Armour

Found it!.. this was much easier that previous years!

Patricia Amero

WOW! I really move about... I'm pleased to be near the top of the 5th ray of sunshine.🌞 PDF version FIND option (3 dots on the right) then inserting my surname made it easy to locate. My internet is slow, so it took a minute to focus when zooming in, then it was crystal clear. Thanks, Time Team 🤟😊

Rick Shepard

Hey it worked! I found my name, thanks.

Maggie Canvin

Found us, top right a number of rows down. Pleased.

sue capps

Can not find my name Susan Capps-Jenner

Jere Brinkley

I am not there, however became a sponsor in Aug so will look for it next year!!

Brett

Basically 19 rows below Stewart's finger, cool!

Zoe Propper

Top line 7th from the left 😃

Edie Markhouse

so pleased to see my name. I enjoy Time Team so much! There is nothing like it in the USA..

Sujatha Vempaty

Delighted to see my name! Thank you again for saving me through the pandemic!

Gail Dausener

I'm so disappointed. I know I completed the request for this year, but my name didnt make it. This would have been my third year on the flag. Well, there is next year.

Jenna Tomlin

I'm right above the eye! Brilliant!

Kerie Receveur

Found myself and my Dad! 8 rows down, between the M and the E.

Penny Ewles-Bergeron

Top line! Top show!

Edwin Jacobs

Thank you. Will there be a downloadable version of the flag?

Sarah Holloway

I finally found it in the sun !

Reannag Teine

11 lines up from the right-hand moon, right at the edge :) --- Is there a way to download a copy?

Stephanie Hogan

This is my third year on the flag and I'm always delighted to see my name among all the other wonderful Patreons.

Mark Vent

I'm right there by the M of TIME - delighted!

Aly Ottomeier

Yay! Took a couple of different browsers but I found my name, 8 rows down, last on the right. I'm ridiculously chuffed to find it.

Time Team

Glad you found it - sorry the PDF can take a while to render as it's such a large file. We'll be looking into alternative options for next year as we have so many names to include now!

Time Team

Hi Andrew, We've checked our records of names and associated emails that were submitted for the 2023 flag and I don't seem to have a record of yours on the list. Feel free to send us an email at membership@timeteamdigital.com, or a direct message on Patreon if you want us to double check for a specific name or email that you think would have been used. Thanks!

Time Team

Thanks for the suggestion and we'll keep this in mind for next year! Glad you found it in the end.

Connie L Merchant

Found it five lines down and seven names in.

Mark Freestone

Thanks! I didn’t look for long enough…

Michelle Watson

Your name is in the middle chin.

Mark Freestone

Be so much easier if it was alphabetical! Still can’t find mine…!

Jill Bray

I've found mine! Just to the right after centre of the the letter 'E' of Time.

Jason Button

found mine yeah

Richard Seaton

Third row down, on the right Richard and Averil. Just nice to be a part of it. Is Sir Tony on there?

Jon Zephanius

Mine's near the centre of the flag, how awesome! It's the first year I've made it in time to be included in the flag so I'm very happy.

Robin Smith

I found my name just above the sun. How exciting.

bil Jeschke

Weeeee! Found mine😀

Todd Gillespie

I was excited and moved to see my mom’s name up there! At the base of the T on Time. She passed away several years ago and was fascinated with English history and archeology.

Shane Elliott

I couldn't remember if I'd responded this time around, but I found my name in the crescent!

Robert Weissburg

I found our name; on the left-most nose.

Michelle Watson

It was posted here on Patreon, and also sent by email, with reminders as well.

Virginia Ross

I also found the PDF version only downloaded in Google Drive this year and was blurry. However, on the upside, I eventually found my name. I suppose Time Team teaches us that all good things can take time and effort.😁

Nina Gadsdon

Found my lovely Grampy’s name in the top row above the E in time. Very fitting, as it’s his fault that I’m interested in archeology in the first place. Thank you!

Des Doherty

Yay! I managed to find myself, thank you!

Betty Nichols

I found myself and my daughter Tonya AND Love the "dedicated to Mick Aston!

Giles Cartmel

It was here on Patreon... look down the posts Apr 27th and May 7th (reminder). Took me a while to find my name on there. Had to just search on my first name as it wasn't working on my full name.

Kay Theriault

Found myself middle, about a third down the logo! <3

Andrew Alexander

Really disappointed Time Team. Name not on there, and I am 100% sure I was not asked or had any opportunity to opt in.

Tonya LaFountain

I found myself & my mom.

Jude Edling

Woohoo! I found Grandma & Isaac Edling! (I'm Grandma and I did forget what names I used, although I remembered it was for my little Isaac). I love all the dedications. Thank you Time Team patrons!!

Joan Barrett

Joanne Kellam, thank you, I see my name. The Find mechanism wouldn't work for me, but clearly it works for you!

Jon Knight

Thanks for the incredibly fast reply, I must’ve missed the email and link for this years flag, at least I have a screenshot of last year’s flag……

Tami McKerrow

There is a Janice Knight on there but not a Jon.

Tami McKerrow

I found my name! Thank you for the pdf version!!

Philip and Tracy Drake

Found ours 😊 Thank you!

Jon Knight

Is there any way of checking that your name is included, because I am not sure if I did fill out the application form or not???

Jean Bawcutt

That took a while but I eventually found it above the M of TIME.

Neil Graham

I found my name 👍🧐 Thank you for a great year

Dodi Thomas Mawer

Woo Hoo - year 3 and now I'm in the upper right 17th line down from the top

I found my name, middle of left side on the circle.

Michelle Watson

I found mine, it is below the eye. And I just realised that my name is just above Stewart’s arm in the other photo.

Joanne Kellam

I found you! Just below and to the right of the bottom lip on the rightmost face! I searched for Barrett in the "Find" box on the pdf.

Edwin Jacobs

I found my name in the 3D-version, the pdf is quite blurry so search for my name does not work. Please check the pdf-version.

Peter Hawker

G'day Team Time Team...thank you, I spotted my name frome here in Sunny Sydney Australia and just a note, when Peter was taking too long to count our masses, my rare surname worked in the blink of an eye.

Mick Holden

Found it! Very cool! It's at the very base of the "I" so it will be easy to find on camera! Thanks for the opportunity to be on-site - at least in spirit.

Julianne Ture

I found my name! Upper left quadrant.

Paul Sandom

Not on there this year, maybe next.

I found my name!! Its the third name to the right of the E of Time in the middle of the E! So happy to find it!! Thank you Time Team for digging those wonderful places and showing us how brilliantly you are doing this and contributing to our human heritage

Joanne Kellam

Excited to see my name on the fourth row from the bottom, just floating off the E of TEAM!

Joanne Kellam

If you download the PDF, you can use the search functionality to find your name.

Joan Barrett

Could not find myself. I had anticipated that the names would be in alphabetical order.

Jakub Jůzl

Tim Taylor is last but not least. :) Also spotted Carl Thorpe.

Zoe Propper

And I thought it was just me, I've been on phone and laptop trying to figure out why I could not download the file properly and it all looks blurry.

Matthew Rice

Left above the eyebrow! Thanks TT! The search was half the fun..Enjoyed all the dedications to Prof Aston....

Ally Leja

I'm so happy that I finally made it on the flag! It was definitely worth the wait to be in one of those rays!! Just a quick comment though: Was the searchable PDF limited to Google Drive this year for a reason? The Google app has difficulty un-blurring the flag image, takes a long while to do so, and the blurr reappears every time the image is moved or zoomed. This was super frustrating when trying to find my name (same issue on newer Samsung phone & on iPad)! In previous years, I was able to download the file directly so it could be opened in better PDF readers. This year, the best workaround was try to open it in Adobe directly from my Google Drive, but I got an error every time. The fix is pretty easy: There's a settings button witin the sharing options screen for the file (desktop vs only, not in apps), and from there, you can check the box to enable downloading, printing & copying. This minor tweak would let your Patrons view the file in a PDF reader that is better equipped to handle the large file!

Vickie Betts

That took some doing, but I found myself!

Matthew Adams

(my favourite attribution is "Hilde's Parents van der Heul")

Matthew Adams

I really wish I hadn't inexplicably started at the bottom working up... we are top right!

Vickie Bligh

Found meself

Mark & Jill Jefson

Ah, back in the sun again.

Peter Farrington

I'm on the flag at about eye level.

I found my name. It’s nice to know that we Patreons are being acknowledged in something tangible again. I’m pleased to help TT to finance new digs anyway but this is a bit of icing on the cake. Long may this continue.

Laura Julian

Thanks for pointing us out Stewart! - The Bruno Family 🥰

Elaine P

I found my name! Twice! (Not statistically impossible, but...). Hoping there are actually two of me, rather than my name taking up an extra space...

Carrie S

I happened to spot my name when the banner was shown on a recent dig watch!

roxy simmons
