So grateful to be viewing NEW Time Team episodes. Thank you!

Fun dig, but is this a shameless ad for cowboy hats? Time Team ought to remain above such things. Stetson Bulova does a lot of good works, but the product has political overtones for many.
Martin Kilner
Woohoo!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤠

Really enjoying this dig. Modbury is a great site and there's so much going on all the time - very exciting! It's lovely to see the old stalwarts and the newer TT members working so well together and Gus does such a good job presenting. Really looking forward to episode 3 tonight.

Honestly, I had almost forgotten this dig was still in the works. I've just watched day 2 and it's so chaotic, but also Time Team gold!
Andy Quick
Hooray! I've been looking forward to this dig. Day 1 was great. Thank you.
Melody Piercy

Really enjoyed the episode - just like old times with the new just adding to the flavour :)
Penny Ewles-Bergeron
Classic Time Team. All the elements are there, plus a lot of new tech. Can’t wait to see more on Modbury.

I love episodes that include the community and children. Such a golden teaching opportunity to enthuse the next generation of archeologists. Also like the variety of sources - documents, finds, reused stone, pathways, dendrodating, geophys - showing how to integrate knowledge into a cohesive story. Well done, TT.

Stewart fills my heart with so much joy, knowing that he's passing that knowledge on :)

More! More! I need more! I love Stuart out in the wilderness with nothing but a selfie stick! 😂
Ross G. Kreamer
Brilliant!
Jakub Jůzl
This must have been so hard to put together. So many things happening all at once, at many locations!
Barbara Young
Great first day. Can't wait for the rest.
Mark Lund
'Its been hot and dry recently...!' I seem to remember something like that in the distant past!
Halo Pendragon
I'm very excited about this episode. The first name on the family tree shown - Richard Champernowne (b. 1236) - shows up in my ancestry as a 20th great-grandfather. I recognized the names right away and went digging (haha) through my family tree.
Peter David Brown
Really enjoyed this episode, looking forward to the next part. Excellent follow-up to the previous digs in the town.
Nicholas & Elizabeth Dyer
an awesome episode, looking forward to next weekend for the next 2 episodes.
Jennie
Loved it! So happy to see the new episodes start rolling in!
Brett
This feels so much like the old Time Team, I always loved to see the community and the children getting involved. Mick must have been smiling down during that dig. I cannot wait to see the whole thing next week!! Brilliant work THANK YOU to ALL the TEAM!!

Hi Dennis, thanks for the question. Yes, this is a fairly typical lead in time between a dig and the completed episodes. (The original series on TV had a similar post-production period, but back then you only got to see the finished product!) If you look up 'post production' in the search bar at the top of the homepage, we've posted a few videos on the various stages in the process, and we'll be discussing it more in upcoming Q&As. We're also very excited to say 2024 will be our busiest year for releases yet since the relaunch, with several interesting projects being finished off for release. Thanks

🤩 Awesome! Looking great so far. What a story: events and the people. I’ve been left on the edge of my seat! Just want to see the rest 🫣 👍🏻👌🏻

Very good can not wait for the whole 3 days
Karen Hardy
This is proper old school TT and I love it! Community involved and everyone running around the village. Already one of my favourites so far. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
Patricia Amero
Spot on, Diana. I couldn't have said it better 👍😊
Michael Sperry
Marvelous! And SO MANY experts on the scene, each giving their input as to what is happening. Fantastic!
Michelle Curiel
So interesting. I loved the community involvement and the link to the Stetson family. Can't wait for the next two episodes.
Dennis Beck
Wonderful … So the dig was June 2023 and will air (yes I know… no air) April 2024 … 11 months ish. Is this the typical time from dig to Episode ready for public consumption?
Eric Fretheim
Love America Civil War stuff, beginning to find English Civil War equally fascinating.
Diana Patterson
Yeah, Time Team! The suspense. The satisfaction. The community involvement. The Patreon suspense! Thanks for this Easter treat.
Clive McIntyre
That took me back to original Time Team memories! I am watching on a Sunday evening, just like I used to, and the theme tune starts the time warp. Well done, everyone, all the flavours and feel of the original with a brand new episode. Remarkable
Amethyst Gray
Nice. Looking forward to the last 2 days.
Leanne
Enjoyed seeing and hearing Gus again. Where was Natalie? Also, a practical question. When a sample is taken for dendro-dating, how is the hole left behind treated? Great to see a new project and looking forward to next weekend.
Steve Mikre
Loved every single minute...
Trentford Heavy Industries
Thanks for sharing a full episode! I thought it was going to be a few minutes and was pleasantly surprised.
Mark Freestone
Just great that we’re back into episodes and that we now number 10000!
Pat Szastkiw
So interesting! Having a living Stetson/Stitson descendant there with you was a brilliant idea. Consider inviting a living descendant, where appropriate and possible, to future episodes to give a sense of the continuity of history. My Patreon contributions well-spent, thank you and bravo! So looking forward to Days 2 and 3.
Elizabeth Ackermann
Great episode. Looking forward to the rest!
Richard Mercer
Great stuff hate to have to wait to see the rest.
Theresa Cashin
Great work! Can hardly wait to see the next two episodes!
