Modbury Community Dig: Cloister Stonework - 3D Models
🕑 Added 2024-04-06 20:04:55 +0000 UTCIt's time for more 3D models from our Modbury community dig.
Here we have two versions of the stonework tracing from the priory cloister: the original photogrammetry scan of the stonework (in situ in the garden), plus a reconstruction showing the complete piece.
View the photogrammetry scan on Sketchfab HERE.
View the reconstruction model on Sketchfab HERE.
Don't forget to join us for the concluding part: Day 3, tomorrow at 7pm BST.
Models produced for Time Team by Shadow Tor Studios.

In addition to artifact models like these, will we ever be able to access the large building 3D models (such as the house, church and priority reconstructions from the Modbury dig)? It would be great to be able to "walk" through these!

I was a cathedral banker mason - that Modbury Cloister tracery piece.. I could make that, from scratch, in just three days. If I still can - is another question :D

Thank you. Itβs always a pleasure for us to take the information from the Time Team experts and transform our captures into worlds. This surviving stone tracery is a perfect example.
