Of course green...same as the collar!?...What? However I am pretty sure my partner Lisa, who is also clearly colour blind (or just argumentative I'm not sure) would say brown. It's hard to get an accurate color on a screen and color shifts with the type of light. My best guess is that it is Pantone 19-0617 TCX Teak. I'm with Hilde, it's brown. It's her jacket, it's what she say it is.

Hilde you are correct your coat is definitely brown. I would like to suggest and advise that if any of your team think your coat is green when seeing it in front of them, unless they have been inbibing large amounts of alcohol just before seeing your coat as green, to get a colour blindness check as soon as possible - if these same people on your team have had a day head injury recently I'd suggest they seek medical attention stat. Thank you very much for a very interesting interviewed you've done here and the information given also during your time with the specs cam recording.

The coat is mainly "dark chocolate" brown and Im guessing the cuffs look milk chocolate brown, because they are a fluffier material and are bouncing light around between the fibers. Since those cuffs read more "orange" it shifts the reception of rest toward the green side. Look of Joseph Albers "Interaction. of Color."

Are there systematic geophysical (metal detecting included) being done along with soil pXRF surveys each day over the open site areas to characterize the chemistry and geophysical responses of the individual soil units encountered? The pXRF in-situ analyses might be VERY informative as far as the cremation grave perimeters. My Two Cents as an Archaeogeophysicist and Claudia's as an Archaeobiogeochemist.

So many variables to the jacket color question. The perceived color is dependent on the calibration of the camera, the quality of sunlight, what colors are surrounding it, the contract from Hilde's gorgeous red hair. And then you deal with the color calibration of the screens that people are using to view the video. To my eyes, on my computer, it looks kind of an olive drab green, but just barely.

Hilde's jacket could be a very dark brown, if you compare with Lawrence's jacket, his jacket is definitely green. Hilde's is some odd in-between color, maybe even a faded black that could look greenish, if you know what I mean.

It looks like a wax jacket to me, the style that Barbour made about 4 years ago called "Dale". the corduroy facings and the button placements make sense with that. Barbour normally offer either "Olive Green" or "Brown" in wax jackets, and I reckon that one is Olive Green. But it is Hilda's jacket, I think we should take her word for the brown-ness of it
