Absolutely loved this, thank you Time Team. I've been a fan of the show since 1994, I couldn't wait for Sunday to come around when it was on air... and now (after watching some nostalgic episodes on YouTube) I've discovered Time Team lives on. Utter joy! One very proud Patreon Time Team member, here. One quick question: Will there be a TT Sutton Hoo t-shirt available soon?!!

This dig has had the best Patreon videos to date. In the past we waited until the final video cut to get much detail on finds, etc. I hope this continues with future digs.

Well done!

I remember watching this episode over & over again, trying to count how many times someone said the word "bucket". Unfortunately, I was so engrossed in the show I kept losing count somewhere around 20... 😅

I agree, isn't it great? I'd really enjoy a Q&A with Emily. Give us lots of notice and I'm sure we would come up with some neat & interesting questions, both from the Classics days and the new format.

Just when you settle into a lazy summer hump day of nothingness, along comes Time Team and I'm a spring chicken again! Woohoo, cheers everyone ☕

It’s very similar to the inscription on a bucket which sparked Time Team’s excavations at Breamore, Hampshire, in 2001 and 2002. So clearly there was a market for these Byzantine luxury goods among upscale Anglo-Saxons. https://youtu.be/w1NLaVHgVRQ?feature=shared

Love the behind the scenes glimpses of the media crews as well as the processing that happens outside of the trenches!
