After death, Most people look peaceful. Except the mummys in Egypt who looks scared and scary to me. lol 👍

Robert Ernest Arthur Harvey

I think that we need more long form discussions like this - or even longer.👏

Jessica Brisbane

I wonder if it would be worth looking at bogs that don't contain bodies to see how they differ from those that do.

Barry Jones

Just really interesting. Are all of the found big bodies, restrained and strangled? Are they killed three times and ado any of them show signs of bringing pain or frightend. Im puzzled as the ones that I have seen seem to look peaceful.

lizzy

look forward to more from Henry, interesting subject.

Alan Murdock

At the beginning, about 75 feet behind them, perfectly framed, is the dog.

Jo Manclus

Loved the Tolkien reference! I was just thinking it when Henry said it :-))

Steve Mikre

Great interview with Henry and very interesting topic...

Kerry Hennigan

As always, context tells so much about the object (bodies, in this case) and what more comprehensive context is there other than the broader landscape in which the object is found? Makes sense to me. Very informative discussion.

“Something (not) rotten in the state of Denmark”, to paraphrase a certain bard. Thanks Dani and Henry for a very interesting exchange! Had to chuckle in the first minute at the canine doing its business in the background.🤭

"The more you study something, the more complex it gets." That's so very true.
