Monorail V2
🕑 Added 2026-01-19 17:07:45 +0000 UTCOne of our original and popular simulations the WDW Monorail has always been a fan favourite. Due to the complexity of the simulation and the way it was created, it is not possible to retro-fit touch screen buttons to play on mobile or tablet. As this is a fan favourite we have committed to rebuilding this simulation from scratch with a brand new user interface for touch screen controls. The benefit is that we are also changing the way it ran, meaning some of those pesky bugs we could never iron out should become a thing of the past. We will keep you posted on progress. What would you like to see added to this simulation that was not in V1? * This is not a driving simulator.

Hi Ride Sims Team, My name is Antonio Negron, and I really enjoy playing Ride Sims! I love how the game lets players experience the thrill of running and exploring a theme park. It’s one of my favorite games, and I think it’s amazing how detailed and fun the rides are. I have a suggestion that I think would make the game even more exciting and complete. I would love to see Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania from Hollywood Studios added to Ride Sims. These rides are really popular in real life, and adding them would give players even more rides to enjoy and make the park feel more complete. Thank you so much for considering my suggestion! Maybe have one station at a time option for like an easy mode? Also, suggestions for a future simulator would please be Radiator Springs Racers, Frozen ride from Tokyo sea, battle at the ministry, and beauty and the beast ride from Tokyo

Can you update the matterhorn simulator to make it touch screen compatible. and my 3 rides that i request are harry potter and the forbidden journey. the great movie ride, and the incredible hulk coaster ride

Can we also make sure that it's widescreen compatible. My screen is too big and I can see the monorails on the left edge

Other stations automated as an option to switch on/off would be nice. The glow under the trains would be nice, as well as an option to add a wrap to monorails (select from given options), weather delays/closures would be great! For future sims, my top three are: 1) MuppetVision: similar to Hex, run the preshow and main show, for main show trigger effects and AA’s. 2) The Great Movie Ride: so many options with A and B (gangster stop vs western stop) shows, staffing for the roles (if you aren’t running the western stop, no need for that CM role to be filled), etc. 3) Soarin’ (EPCOT version) - 3 theaters and preshows to control, can switch between California and Around the World shows

+1 would really like to focus on one station at a time while the rest of the system handles itself.

Option to add traffic flow directions at least to the Magic kingdom routes since WDW recently changed the traffic flow of the express line I believe so the monorails could “race” each other. Another interesting idea could be adding a glow to the trains if it’s “night” in the sim to match the color of the train.

When a monorail breaks down you need to send the tow unit from the workshop. adds more realism.

I think a way to automate platforms so you can just focus on one platform like an actual monorail cast member would, would be great.
