🕑 Added 2020-03-18 00:48:52 +0000 UTCGosh okay what can I say about these pages. Tried to get a nice ambient sort of dark night/warm campfire feel with the colors. Limited shading? The more I make pages lately the more I want to just do color flats. BUT ANYWAYS.
Wanted to give the wolves and elk a different feel from the main characters with their speech, despite how goofy their dialogue is. Had to look up some fresh fonts and based them on that! Considering I've mostly just lettered my comics with no font reference (since the beginning?), felt pretty good to work with that font reference.
I hope y'all enjoy DEREK THIS IS MY HOUSE. My partner cracked up pretty hard at this wonderfully dumb page, and I hope it brings y'all a bit of joy.

I love love love the wolves, but can I also say you really nailed the color balance for this scene! The soft oranges and cool blues are really spot-on imo! Gorgeous piece James!
