Announcement - November is the Final Month of Content Availability on Patreon and YouTube

So, first things first…THANK YOU. Thank you for all the support, for your comments, and for creating such a fabulous community here! I’ve truly had so much fun watching shows and movies with you all, and have really missed it since I’ve had to put things on pause.
As you can see from the title, November will be the last month that reaction content will be available on Patreon (and YouTube.) I really appreciate all of you who let me know last May that you still wanted the Patreon open and because of that, I'd decided to keep it going. However, I recently discovered that a former patron posted some clips of my reaction to “Power of the Doctor” (13’s regeneration into 14) in a compilation video on YouTube without my knowledge or permission, which was pretty inappropriate. That confused a number of that video’s viewers who kept trying to find the edited reaction on my YouTube channel, which of course didn’t exist because I had to stop editing before that episode, and, well…it was a bit of a mess.
There are additional factors that went into this decision, but basically, I’ve decided to remove/hide the content while both YouTube and Patreon remain in limbo. I’m not permanently deleting either platform/channel altogether, because I want to have the option of reinstating the content one day. When that will be, I don’t know. And because I don’t know, I think it will be easier and less confusing if the content comes down rather than leaving it up & unattended to.
During the week of November 23-30, the access to the videos will change. Because it has to be done by each individual link, it will take a bit of time so that’s why I have to start on the 23rd. I made up a list of the order I plan to follow, so I’ve tried to leave the Whoniverse and AoS content last, since those are easily the bulk of the reactions. I apologize if this is not enough time for some of the newer Patrons to make it through the content you pledged for, but you can download them for later (I say this with the understanding that they shouldn’t be posted anywhere else…please!!) The Patreon will then go into an official “hiatus” status so that no pledges are processed as of December 1st.
Beyond that, I’d love to stay in contact, so please let me know where the good forums and online communities are, particularly for Doctor Who! (Still haven’t watched the latest season, BTW, because it seems weird to watch it without you guys!) I can’t imagine having watched that show any other way, and there are a number of shows I may never have gotten around to watching without both the YouTube and Patreon communities! It was an absolute joy for me, and it’s been a privilege to have shared that joy with you!

I just activated the Threads app & it's associated with the "Fourth Wall Reactions" Instagram (that I almost never use 🤣) and will spend some time on both those platforms to see what they're like. hey monica, sorry for jumping on your reply but there’s a bit of a who community growing on bluesky, there’s people like bad wolf archives and many of the creatives behind the show. there’s also a feature where you can follow lists that people have made that show you the latest posts from doctor who fans! i hope you’re doing well, i’ve enjoyed watching so much with you and wish you the best! hope to see you back on here and youtube whenever you can x

Hey JY! Thanks so much for the community suggestions! I've been exploring Reddit more and more lately, and will keep an eye out for other places to chat. I just recently deactivated on Twitter - the algorithm got so weird & wonky. Have you tried any of the Twitter alternatives? I don't use my "FWR" Instagram much, but I know Threads is connected to it so I might give that a try. I'll have to post here and/or on the YouTube community when I figure out what I'm doing. ;-) Thanks again for all the support over the years! It's been a really special time. Hey Monica! Thank you so much for the reactions and for also keeping your previous reactions available as long as you could. Sorry to hear about that footage incident. I hope you're able to return for this one day. Personally, I already follow you on social media so I shall remain in contact with you there (if you're still active) . In terms of communities, there is R/Gallifrey and R/Doctor Who on Reddit if you're looking to engage with people in The Doctor Who community. That's the most active one I can think of at the moment. There are some other forums out there too. Be wary of spoilers and any toxicity Who forums of course (they also unfortunately exist). There are also people on Twitter that you can talk about Doctor Who with. I also reckon the followers and patreons that follow you on social media will also provide you with your own personal community too along with fellow reactors who have connected with you.
