Fortunately, Matt made a little jog seawards in the middle of the night and spared the interior of the state from the 90-100+ mph winds like they got on the coast. Otherwise, just a yard full of tree limbs and some water in the garage (the driveway slopes towards the house)...nothing to bother with insurance over. Downed trees and power lines throughout the neighborhood, though (thankfully) my power stayed on pretty much the entire time....and didn't miss a single second of Jim Cantore's antics. The winds died down and had enough daylight left yesterday to clean up the front yard...my angst-filled teenagers can clean up the (much worse) back yard while I'm at work today.
