I like this format a lot and agree it could serve as a good hook for attracting new viewers to the full episodes.

Great idea ! Great dellivery ! A tad fast on the talking but it's wonderful to have a basic impresion of "how does this firearm handle" on top of the facts. I sure hope this can serve as a gateway pointing at the main videos or to just get a quick reference and fact sheet when someone wants to get the gist of a specific firearm. I love the "Mad Mae minute" nickname that Greg came up with but keep it a nickname ! ... The current title is wonderful. Again, a bit fast but It may also be a good thing. Listening to it again, pronounciation si just flawless, everything is clear, and the bare minimum amount of words is used. I am growing to it on the speed and it may actually be the charm of the format on the long run. Title card and music are just flawless. That it a wonderful thing in itself.

While most of your audience likes to sit down in front of the wireless for a an in-depth 138 minute Youtube on firearms minutiae with a nice glass of sherry and a pipe after rereading 'British skirmish tactics during the Afghan occupation, volume 7' , I find this new format quite compelling. The previously mentioned format may be quite compelling to some of your subscribers but it may be a bit overwhelming to some. The one minute 'Mad Mae Minute' may be enough to pique the interest of those who have yet to fall down the rabbit hole and are an excellent addition to the C&Rsenal lineup. aka, Redneck marketing advice FTW

Love it. The format is very social medial friendly, and I'll share goddamn all of them. Mae is a good face for these, since her actual shooting footage is ideal for the format; and her user's-perspective is possibly the more marketable "hook" in the videos for a wider audience. If it could be done elegantly, subtitles wouldn't be a bad idea. I don't find Mae at all hard to understand, but a lot of people courteously leave sound off on social media, so it's useful when videos don't require it.

FANTASTIC! I love Mae and I love C&Rsenal! She does sound rushed here. Video is great, makes me want to see more.

Love the concept "Minute of Mae"! Do recommend though that you slow Mae down a bit. Perhaps keep the Minute of Mae to always not more than 1 minute 59 seconds?

I think it's really good for giving out the concise facts, but Mae is talking faster than a belt-fed Wombat! As others have said, it might be worth having some of the relevant facts (calibre, length, weight, country of origin) as an overlay or even as a still at the start. This way, Mae can give us more of her impressions and show off the quirks. This also means she can slow down, as it does sound like she's either on Speed or has been artificially sped up, which is somewhat jarring, particularly as she sounds much more relaxed on the main show.

I like it. Yes, Mae speaks quickly, but distinctly and can be understood. Only problem might be with those who are not native English speakers.

May is my new favorite "really cool girl next door"... May is very funny (love the black beard) - very smart - knows her firearms and LOVES to shoot!!! May, you handle recoil WAY better than most men - I hate to admit - probably better than I do!!! Love to see that smile on your face every time you finish shooting - very fun to watch and never gets old! Great job on your channel and all of your videos guys!!!

I agree that some limited use of text on the screen (country, model, manufacturer, years produced, years in service, size, weight, cartridge, capacity) would be good, not as a visual aid for keeping up with Mae's spoken lines but to give her less to say. Have Mae read some random text at a natural pace to come up with a hard maximum word count and edit her lines down to fit. It would make the video more enjoyable and easier to follow, though this is a great start.

I'm Norwegian, but I can follow her well enough. Her diction (though very American) is clear enough. It sounds a tad rushed though, if I were doing this I would consider sacrificing a few interesting facts for a slightly more laid-back pace.

The auto generated English subtitles on this are near perfect. If any of my fellow patrons are native speakers of a language other than English this might be a fairly easy, given its length, video to add subtitles in other languages to. Despite learning Irish and French in school I'm afraid I'm basically a monoglot. Not sure if that sort of thing helps views or not.

The up tempo strings soundtrack works for this format. I like the relevant archival recordings you use for Primer, but the strings here give a sense of tension and intent.

I like it. Othias for the big stuff and Mae gives a quick run through. Austin's got a good point on the pace of the Mae's talking, however I think the super fast pace adds to the format rather than detracts. However a scrolling reader or marque across the bottom of the screen (news format style) would probably help people keep up and allow you to keep that quick pace. Just a thought Overall though it's a great concept
