Still love what you do, but I gotta say I find the new (i think?) background music a bit distracting. The tunes in the shooting segment and animation are fine; it's the other stuff during the regular discussion.

Just think, you shorten the barrel like that, and you might stun several enemy soldiers at once with the muzzle blast. Basically a flashbang gun, that also kills people you point it at.

Count another that would love for the return of the soothing sounds from the voice of Othais, uninterrupted by the distraction of music! Even were the volume of the background score reduced by 80% it is still an unnecessary aberration to an otherwise excellent commentary on little known subject matter. Do please ditch the tunes whilst telling the tell!

Great episode (really appreciate the explanation of single shot/black powder in real terms of the battlefield environment). Not sure if I missed it, but you usually super impose the target range for the group (70 yards?). What distance did you shoot from? Thanks!

At ~2:00 C&Rsenal has just opened up a new aspect of collecting old guns! Ah! A 1917 vintage Springfield '03. The nose has hints of sulfur, salt peter, mil spec grease, old linseed oil, and CLP. And on the palette there is a smooth metallic taste, old wood, and an aftertaste of Rem oil...

I absolutely love your videos and like the intro music too, but please, pleeeeaaase don't start putting music underneath the narrative content. It's one of the plagues of modern factual TV and makes it much harder to listen and concentrate for the extended periods of time that your subject matter and excellent personal delivery merit. Your words are what we want to hear.
