It is a very early Martini Henry Mk 1 I think, based on the presence of the sliding safety catch in front of the trigger.

Thank you for all of the education and entertainment you provide! It appears in the video that the when the magazine cutoff is turned on, the elevator lifts and locks in place in the upright position. What happens when the cutoff is turned on while the bolt is closed and there is a cartridge on the elevator?

Thanks folks. Looking forward to part 2. I've really struggled with the Kropatschek as well so I'll be interested to see what you've uncovered. The quality of the rifles OEWG put out was amazing - we usually see them kinda battered and bruised but I got a chance to look at a mint one in the Royal Armouries collection and it's just beautiful.
