Hello C& R folks, I am going to wait for you to find another source besides Patreon Othais. If not I am canceling my patreon account as I will not support a authoritarian organization, I will follow you to another site or put a check in the mail. However I will not use patreon.

I'm glad you're doing this. Nearly all of my subs here have as well...oddly, I must have missed Ian and Karl whom I would have assumed would also be opening alternative payment methods.

Copypasting myself from earlier: Well, Patreon randomly killed a large maker account (SargonOfAkkad, even if you hate him keep reading) along with some others for no violation of the TOS (which only covers actions and posted stuff on patreon's site itself), but instead political reasons (they cite some random shit from a chat that someone else posted to youtube 10 months ago where he uses a "racial slur" to insult white nationalists) by their incredibly orwellian (and appropriately named) "Trust and Safety Department." Drama, in other words, that has upset the stability of patreon as a platform. People are cancelling accounts, switching to alternative sites, and patreon is feeling the heat now.

As I said before: Rent a PO Box and post the address. I would gladly send cash

Currently there is no relation except that a good portion of our base are ready to boycott Patreon for having a political bias. I am NOT saying if this is deserved or not but in order to maintain funding for the show will need to setup on a secondary platform so those users have their choice.

Perhaps it is time for a lot of complaints to the FTC against MasterCard, PayPal and others for restraint of trade! These organizations have Absolutely NO business pushing a political agenda!

Fun fact, I think Wells Fargo is like the last bank that'll deal with firearms companies. I plan to stay on Patreon for the creators that stay, while moving as much as I can over to something else.

I will support you guys in one way or another. Frankly, I would like to leave Patreon because of their political agenda but I won't until I can support you and a few other creators from other sources. We need a staunch free speech platform and payment processor... That passage was hilarious by the way, what wonderful customs, if somewhat hazardous!

Frankly, It was with great reticence that I joined Patreon in the first place, because I knew this day was coming soon, but it was to support YOU so I knew it was a good cause. I always knew eventually they would come after this channel anyway that they went after Sargon first was a surprise.Othias get another payment processor and let us know when you have and I will follow you there. If that group is scum as well then we'll figure it out. I remain on Patreon for you until you work this out.

Presently the big one is Sargon of Akkad and they claim over racial language in a forum outside of Patreon. This is disputed two ways. 1. He was using said language to insult racists. 2. The words mean nothing and he is being targeted for political reasons. C&amp;Rsenal has no official opinion but respects people's choice to vote with their dollar.

I do want to leave because I was subbed to Sargon. But the crap is everywhere, and I care more to donate to your channel than the pennies patreon gets off me. I'd want alternatives to the majority of my channels before I fully abandon the platform, but I care more about the folks I donate to. Y'all are first on my list.
