A Summary of Our Trip to Cody WY
🕑 Added 2019-07-22 02:50:18 +0000 UTCThis leaves off a lot of time spent away from the camera and with fellow "professionals" who are seeking to best preserve and display arms history.
Sadly, I did fail at my primary mission for the trip. But we certainly found a lot to enjoy along the way.

While Othias’s dissertation on the manpower shortage of Confederate field artillery conscription of an Ursus Corp of bear “wranglers little known, his assertion that animals inability to do math requiring humans to site for trajectory, ballistics and distance is totally erroneous. The superlative mastery of mathematics by Guinea Pig tacticians was called upon and their unrestrained ferocity would have turned the tide against Northern Aggression had Lee been able to supply them with sufficient kibble -

Wonderfull!!! And probably the worst natural history data I ear in a long time.
Thomas Achilles
I need to find out more about this “discord”
Samuel Doak
Mae deserves sainthood, he never would have made the NC border alive!! ;p
Bruce Brodnax
Not all of it, just the majority of the inhabitants of both state legislative houses and their constituents who voted them into office...
Bruce Brodnax
You've never had to drive across west Texas, have you?
Joe Venzon
"hhhhhobby" XD
work is good
Wayne Dygert
forget that last. The dialogue would suffer

I am strangely reminded of "Ask Dr. Science" or maybe "The Adventures of Chicken Man". The latter would of course feature Mae as Miss Hellfinger who was actually the brains of the operation... BTW should it become necessary there's a great ENT specialist working at MUSC who might actually be able to surgically remove Othias' tongue from his cheek...
Jason
Hmmm. Note to self: No long road trips with Othais. He sings just as badly as I do.

My cats have brought 3 live baby jackalopes into our house lately... Fortunately they don't kill endangered species, just let them run under the couch...

Man, the area near 7:21 looks like right outside my house... well, except not quite as remote. Wyoming looks pretty similar to Idaho. I should go to Cody firearms musuem. It's like a 4 hour drive for me. That seems a lot less long after seeing your trip. :P

I really enjoyed seeing the baby jackalope in Wyoming. You could tell it was a baby because it didn't have its horns yet. FYI - Jackalope babies are not as rare as adults, But great catch!

Long car journey, sleep deprivation, Ian, a random rabbit and a car full of C+Rsenal. Sounds like fun on the bun!
Andrew MacDougall
17:47 california is retarded
Steven Faiello
Man, you guys look like the best road trip companions. You should do guided trips like Ian does to WW1 battlefields in Europe, but with science facts in the midwest.
Andrew MacDougall
you didn't visit Tim while in IN. shame!
Andrew MacDougall
cross country driving, bad singing and machine guns in the trunk.
Peter A
Good lord, that was insanely enjoyable.
C&Rsenal
Sadly still a secret for now. I will have to try again some day.
C&Rsenal
"It is unless you listen to government lies"
C&Rsenal
Weirdly ours did fine on the road. You figure with sale and repairs we have maybe $6.5k in it with no payments or interest + full cargo capacity for any/everything + team members and those gas pump dollars just never add up to even the cheapest new SUV.
C&Rsenal
Nope. I have to reschedule and burn more cash to try again.
MAJ Richard Turner Ret.
Uh, What was the primary mission? BTW I am only over at Augusta...
Paul Voorhorst
I will “educate” my daughters on long road trips much like Othais, but they always follow up with a question to my wife, “is that true mom?”
Loren Hermanson
Ha! Wilford Brimley nightmare fuel... “Diabetus” capital of the world.... absolutely classic. That’s the type of dialogue that makes me love watching your stuff!
Samuel Schiller
Brilliant! The science lessons were superb.
Benjamin de Groot
No gimballs, no drone shots, no fancy stock music: still the best travel vlog I ever dun seen. Also, thanks for properly crediting the Dutch with the invention of wind: us oppressing half of Asia didn't just happen overnight yaknow.
Matt Bakken
Chevy Suburban, I'm glad my monthly contribution went to exactly 2 miles worth of gas. I tried a short road trip in my 87 and nearly bankrupted myself.
Erik
You learned how to explain science from the Dad in Calvin & Hobbes, didn't you? Ahhh Nebraska! The longest week of my life took place on the afternoon I spent driving across Nebraska.
Anonymous
Very cool video, especially seeing them using your animation like that
Arturo Ceron
Since the mission failed, can you now discuss what it was?
Donald Gray II
Needs more Ashley and Danny!!!
Milsurp Mike
If my kid wouldn't have got sick, I am sure we could have got a "I'm the king of the world" shot of you from on top of the Liberty Memorial. Glad you made it back safely!
David Hemsath
Thanks for saying “Nebraska was fun.”
Almeida
I was on travel for work and saw that I was in the exact center of Illinois. I stopped and got on top of the truck to look around.... corn, just corn
Othais the Scientist... With all your knowledge please dont leave us with no more C&Rsenal...
Chris Stochaj
Othais is best tour guide.
moosemaimer
My brother went to school in Illinois. "Nothing but corn" is pretty much how he described most of the trip there.
