Pew pew is you tube safe when referring to pew pews. This might make discusson of pew pews a bit abstract but it seems to work.

The additional safety was added to all production pistols around serial 140,000 (production went to 160,000). When a police dept adopted the 1913 they often sent their pistols back to the factory to have the additional safety fitted. Because of this you will find the additional safety through out the entire serial range. It has been estimated that war time production ended around serial 100,000.
