Welcome to the virtual gun show!
🕑 Added 2020-03-18 04:37:45 +0000 UTCI know a lot of you are stuck at home with your guns, books, and magazines. Well I happened to have a little project website sitting around gathering cobwebs, waiting on me to finish preparing it.
Instead I spent today adding the ability for users to submit their own articles. So if you want to share something you know OR read a bit about someone else's collectible, come on by.

The (still incomplete) site is also made to draw in content from authors, researchers, and youtubers. So maybe come by and find something new... or old... or whatever.
If you choose to submit an article, just know I have to approve it manually, so it might take a bit.

Excellent! I can think of no better use of a web address and some hard drive space.

Another excellent scholarship.

I love this, thank you for putting it together.

Just talk about old guns and own your images!

Dog gone it I might have to dust off an old AGI article ππ€£π€£

are there specific guidelines as to what can and can't go on the site?
C&Rsenal
You're welcome to share as many as you like through the site. It's set up for self-submission. We just check them for obvious trolling and approve the posts.

Interesting. That's one of the phones we tried... As soon as I can duplicate it I'll try and fix it.

I've been writing collectors articles for a bi-monthly newsletter for about ten years. I could send you all of them if you'd like.

I that would have been much easier, unfortunately I am in South Africa, they are unknown here and our firearm laws are a bit tricky on semi auto rifles. But I can still wish.

They turn up over here in Germany on eGun (our gunbroker equivalent) regularly. If you want one bad enough, Gun Jesus recently had a video on how to import guns into the US (assuming you are in the US).

Great idea, excellent site. Some might say outSTANding!

Samsung Galaxy S10 Switching to a Laptop did resolve the issue.

I know, your article was one of the ones that provided me with some basic information when I was first getting into collecting Siamese/Thai Firearms. Depending on when you wrote that article, there actually sadly may not be any new resources on the Siamese Mauser. The Only reason I Have a slightly better understanding of what's correct and whats not is because I have contact with the guy that wrote the only book on the subject, and he has been collecting data on them since the 80's and has a contact in Thai military circles.

What model phone is it btw? Mae and I cannot seem to replicate the issue.
Cameron Rankin
Yes I am, I can try on my Laptop when it's not 2:30 in the morning. Appreciate the Quick response by the Way.
C&Rsenal
Yeah go nuts. The only thing I wrote about Thai Mausers was a LONG time ago and with a lot fewer resources.
C&Rsenal
Are you working from a mobile phone by chance? One other user reported this but he was on mobile.
SpaceCowboyfromNJ
Hmm... I guess I should probably write and submit an article on Identifying the Siamese Mausers, considering that there is so little information out there on them, and within that there is a bunch of incorrect information, which unfortunately often gets repeated by including by some little known guys who go by the names Ian and Othais (Sorry just had to poke a little fun, and I completely understand and don't blame you guys for it) I just need to see if I can manage to get some professional looking photographs.

Tried to register, but the link to set a Password isn't working :( Anything I can do on my end to fix this? Tried to use the reset link it recommended 3 times without success.

I would love to get my hands on one of those HK SL-7 rifles
