Write any book, I'll buy it.

Damn it Othias. You are correct you have left me desperately wanting to here more on the hand crafted rifles :-)

Mae Responding: Dope, thanks for letting me know!
Bruce Brodnax
HAHAHA! @ 1:11, Othias mispronounces "Canuckistan" like some brand of ginger ale w/o the "dry..." on the end! %D

Thank you. So far it looks like its working, the Patreon RSS feed had the previous two episodes and this one in it.

Mae Responding: I believe I have enabled this so ya'll should be set going forward! Please let us know if it doesn't work for next time though. It says it should've sent everyone a one-time email with the new RSS audio link when I enabled it.
Joseph S.
Thank you.

I will endeavor to find out why this is not working now.
C&Rsenal
Well it ate 20 rounds today just fine. I'll have to buy up some other brand and burn a few hundred to be sure.
C&Rsenal
Yeah, Miles had me hooked.

I've got to comment again after a proper listen. The whole language thing is fascinating. I'm just reading about the arms trade in Muscat at the end of the 19th century. Ammunition type was clearly defined by utilitarian language - ammunition called "badl" was sought after because it was cheap -being locally reloaded. New made British ammunition was called "wilayati" which sort of translates to "from the states" in Arabic.

This.

Great as always

Would it be possible to enable these in Patreon's RSS Podcast feed? Being able to automatically download them for listening would be convenient.

lol happened to me as well

I own a Century and it works just fine. Burns through the Wolf ammo I bought cheap ( .01 cents a round ) and reasonably accurate . I still like my AR10 better , more accurate and lighter .

1897 shotguns are being cut down for Cowboy Action Shooting , they are very popular and valued as a short barreled gun. Truth be known most if not all shotguns in the "Wild West" were not cut down but used as made.

This was a really great episode. The infectious joy of discovery really comes through. It reinforces how much work goes into a Primer episode. The content never just springs forth, full-formed like Athena from Zeus’s head. It’s perseverance on the research side, plus the equally important organization of the research and effective communication of the material to your audience.

Looking forward to listening to this properly. Love Silah report if only because it's so far outside my comfort zone. (Modern firearms+MENA=Complexity and Confusion for this reader).

I've said this before, but it bears repeating: yours is absolutely the best (consistently scheduled) firearms content on YouTube.

36:40 Oh yeah, hurry up and write a book!

The discord notifications going off in the background are driving me nuts going to discord to look for new messages
