Bruce Brodnax

Alert Ian, STAT! X-)

Bruce Brodnax

In the past Sportsman's Guide has had 7.63 Mauser from PPU, but had it mistakenly listed under "rifle" ammo. I got some a few years ago before the Granola Curtain was lowered on those of us trapped in the PRK, closing off mail-ordering ammo for our personal use...

Bruce Brodnax

The big problem w/ the 577-450 is that Jameson [Bell] apparently isn't making the brass any more so anyone else is in the same boat of converting the CBC 24ga balloon-head brass shot shells [which is a liability nightmare, given that they're only marginal for even BP loads if your M-H isn't an absolutely tight action. If I can ever find my spherical tuit, I'll be doing some involved processing of my own brass that would be completely impractical & unprofitable for an actual business...

Greg Merrill

I made the request, he responded. It appears the brass is in short supply and it's unlikely he will be making it. Sigh.

Alexander Dvorak

Absolutely!

Jared Kennedy

I love that gun shop. Jim is the man! have bought several guns there.

C&Rsenal

It would certainly make an interesting special

C&Rsenal

Make sure to email them so they know!

C&Rsenal

I would definitely email them

Will "how ammo matters" ever be spun out into a full special like Project Lighting? I would love to see a video bench firing a good condition and a worn out rifle with a variety of ammunition at multiple distances to illustrate the point. If nothing else, it could be referred to when someone whines about the range of the Primer shoots?

Lee Hetrick

I bought some 7.65 Longue for my 1935A. I like using the actual brass So they can use a standard load , although the reworked S&W brass from Buffalo with less powder still works.

Greg Merrill

revolver: 7.5 swiss ordnance I believe No one in the world makes this

Chris Marchi

great interview

Chris Marchi

nice selection of 45-70

Angeleyez1989

10.4mm italian ordinance! There's plenty of bodeos out there but not enough ammo.

michael mckechnie

The 458 Socom they have is fantastic!

Robin Roberts

Did I hear 7.65 French (.32 French Long)

Gary Newman

Have some 6.5 Carcano (.268/160gr) on back order

Dr. B

Awesome!

Alexander Dvorak

Already have it!

Dr. B

I think there would be large market for 9mm Largo! Tons of those Spanish pistols imported, but the ammo is very hard to find.

Joshua Pierce

Loved the interview. How about .50-70 Government for us guys that want to occasionally shoot a "trapdoor" made before '73?

Franz Anton Mesmer

480 Ruger? 458 Lott? 577 Snider? 38 Long Colt? 6.5 Grendel? 357/44 B&D? 6.5x54 M-S? There's lots of opportunity to expand. ;-)

Kenneth Marshall

Wow - They have 38-200! Cool, I always liked that for my Webley and never got into rolling my own.

Michael Quinn

I figured any rimfire not 22 is more tooling than anyone will ever make again but a good smokeless load for the centerfire conversions is not out of the question.

Erik Schmitz

I love their low recoil 7.7 in my late Type 99.

C&Rsenal

Honestly anyone that could master a rimfire system...

Vityaz

They have French long!

Alexander Dvorak

Hey guys I'm Alex "the gun nerd" and marketing guy if you have questions feel free to reply to this comment and I'll see if I can answer it!

Michael James Blum

A source for loaded 11mm French Ordnance revolver would be nice! And 7.63x25mm Mauser pistol!

Leonard Heinz

No worries, Alexander. I know how hard it's been to get components.

Alexander Dvorak

We really appreciate! Sorry for any delays!

Alexander Dvorak

We just started discussing 9mm Steyr I'll let you know how it goes!

Leonard Heinz

It's great to hear that there's more variety coming from Steinel. I've used their .45-70 trapdoor loads and their S&W .38/200gr ammo, both with great results. Currently awaiting some 9mm Largo and 7.5 French longue (don't tell Ian McCollum) and happy to hear that one is loaded and the other is about to be.

Mr. Lee

22 WCF. I reload for it now, but when I first wanted just a few rounds it was a real pain. Ended up ordering bullet molds from australia.

Mustafa's Fleas

Very much enjoyed the interview with Steinel ammo! As they are currently making 9mm Largo, how about 9mm Steyr (Starline is making cases!)? Or for those of us that have the Roth-Krinka-Steyr M1907, 8mm Steyr would be most welcome, as opposed to the most dismal offering's from Fiocchi!!! (Fiocchi is rather good brass assuming you're able to load your own cartridges.)

Michael Quinn

How about 41 Swiss smokeless. 2nd choice 577-450 Martini Henry.

james k

I really like that vintage black metal audio production on the past two uploads even if you guys prefer the high polish of primer.

Alexander Dvorak

We do make a 9mm self defense round but I couldn't tell you when we will get components.

Thomas Ross

How about some 9mm
