I _FINALLY_ got around to listening to Unloaded 22, so you probably won't see my post at this late date, over a month later, but I just wanted to suggest you contact Duellist1954 [Mike Belliveau in meatspace] for any info on BP repros; they're kind of his focus. As far as a Patterson Colt w/ a loading lever, they didn't have them: no room in the frame for getting a bullet under a lever even if it had one, nor is there a cutout in the recoil shield for putting caps on after the cylinder is loaded. They were strictly a disassemble & reload separately proposition. That was one of Sam Walker's desired improvements that led Colt to name the new gun after him; say what you want about Sam Colt's atrocious spelling, but he was a gracious man & gave credit where credit was due! ;-)

Sorry I'm late to this party, but just for the record I will *not* be disappointed if the swimsuit calendar features swimmie-pigs.

No problem! You should definitely write the definitive book on WWI small arms. You guys can provide insights like no one else, since most of them never shot the weapons. Heck, I doubt Bruce Canfield or Ian Hogg have fired as many WWI small arms as you two!

Get rich quick scheme: Watch shotgun video on patreon before video is released, go buy it, wait for video to be released, sell it for 2x as much as you bought it, repeat next month
C&Rsenal
I'll take a look
C&Rsenal
Yes, thank you very much! Sorry, we had to make a last minute trip out of state and I got scrambled!

Are you familiar with the NativLang channel on Youtube? They do videos about language history and linguistics and come from a bg of graphic design. I'm certain they'd produce deliriously cute Sam Colt animations if you could collaborate.

Perhaps poor phrasing -- I didn't mean the show selling through directly through patreon or any of the other other platforms. Just someone with disposable income at the moment might be able to turn a profit listing items for auction during the supporter exclusivity period.
David Herman
But you might be able to do a partnership/crossover thing with them. Could get the channel a lot more traffic
Dr. B
Yes, that's it! I just wanted to make sure you got it...
C&Rsenal
I will look it up
C&Rsenal
We started with two aids: An existing following from reddit on my article work and then a collab with the Great War
C&Rsenal
I feel like they wont be for hire then..
C&Rsenal
I feel like patreon would hate that
C&Rsenal
The cavalry material?

Your 1st mistake was to worry about pants. In covid times, it is more important to worry about a mask then it is to make sure you have on pants. As long as your underwear(not tighty whiteys) is in 1 piece and still the same colour, it doesn't matter much.

I thoroughly enjoyed the UPS story!
2D Animater = You Should contact "TheScarvedInsect" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHBBqKDR8zqH9HwCl-NIw0g/) He is the son of a gentleman who's channel I also watch (https://www.youtube.com/c/AntiTrekker). All the animation jobs he has done so far to my knowledge have been done "in the family" for his father's channel and mostly sci-fy themed but he is good and may be interested and as an up and comer looking to expand his name and may be willing to offer you a better price then some others. And as a younger male may be more enthusiastic for such a project.

Ah, the missed opportunity for a quintessential Americana imagery: Othais in a t-shirt, riding Valkyrie with a shotgun strapped by a bungee-cord. We were so close to an instant classic... Fan art, anyone?

The idea of a Samuel Colt Vtuber cracks me the hell up, at any rate. hahaha
Eric Sammywaifu
Just a complete shot in the dark here but it's possible you could make a "Vtuber" of Samuel Colt. There is a phenomenon going on right now of people using software to virtually animated yourself as a character. There is software and you would just need a designer of the "character" which costs a few hundred bucks and then you could have them do many things as "Colt" but I don't know if this would actually work for your intended purpose. Just throwing it out there. It mainly meant for people sitting in front a screen, not doing dynamic movements.

Forget e-begging, I smell e-xtortion . The all Mark calendar is free, and each pay tier is one less month of Mark.
Wayne Dygert
Listening to these podcasts is like hanging out with friends and chewing the fat. Thanks
Mustafa's Fleas
Please, please, PLEASE, don't do Mark Novak in a "banana'hammock" for the C&Rsenal calendar!!! That picture would ruin an entire month!!!
David Herman
Also I totally empathize on the difficulty in growing your channel. I've been trying my darndest to get my own show off the ground and my rando views (as opposed to sending videos to people) just aren't really biting
David Herman
Re animation: you guys should totally check out the channel Extra Credits. Their show Extra History is exactly what y'all are looking for.

Lucid dreaming, happens to me a lot
JG
I really enjoy these podcasts. Thanks for doing them.

The smart game here is to buy interesting old shotguns now and sell them to all the patrons once the episodes start airing :)
Dr. B
Did you guys get the books I mailed to your PO Box about a month ago?
