That would be the A1 version, so a different pistol. The original which was shown will likely be a very big to do episode. Probably with a section dedicated to Sgt. Alvin York and his note worthy use of the pistol.

Teasing everyone’s favorite WWI pistol yet again. I imagine the M1911 will be the finale to the WWI part of the series. As interesting as it’s been I’m ready to see more inter war development and of course the lesser known WW2 firearms.

Wait! Don't give up so easily. This is the 21 st century. While sacrifice is off the table we can do the ancients one better and have the vet perform a guinea pig colonoscopy! We'd get way more data than anyone just poking entrails with a stick AND we can post the whole thing on line. Crozier Wil be fine once the anesthesia wears off. Hooray for technology!
