I guess Mae technically didn’t shoot the single-shot Vetterli, but it’s another very early bolt action y’all ha e experience with (and as I sit here watching the Vetterli episode, it DOES seem very modern compared to the locked-on-the-bolt-handle Berdan, Gew71, and Gras).

one small note - in russian "ch" ("ч") is pronounced "ʧ", as in "check", rather than "k", as in "chaos". Not trying to nitpick - just seeing how you go as far as refer to people by their full name (including patronymic) and pronounce them really well, figured you may be interested. PS: love the modified posters with names of rifles in the center!
