I've said it before and I'll say it again. My first experience with this show was the Blanton episode, followed by the Ian Can't Othias memes. I then watched the primer on the Luger.
C&Rsenal
It's attached to this post, there are several images.
Jorge Gomez
Where’s the Nose Art picture?
Kyle Clark
oh hey, a book to listen to while on the plane. Good stuff. :D
Jacob Solver
Never give up the hand traps! I love the long form history of the primers but I also can’t get over how fun and silly the hand trap series is
Aiden Payne
I’m probably not quite the average guy, but I’ve never held a gun. Having watched a bunch of primers and the like, I feel like you’re doing the right thing. The history is as interesting as the firearm itself in my books.
Joshua Alberry
The pouch is for the STGW 57 assault rifle, but will also work with the K31
C&Rsenal
Suz's relationship to the show is by merit of living in the same house it's produced in. She's otherwise just very patient with us running around constantly on fire.
Tim Pruitt
I'v only been a patron for a short time, but I have listened to most of your Primer and Trap Series, as well as Minutes of Mae and anything else I can find. I am as much a history fan as a gun fan, so your shows are very informative and have pushed me to explore many more topics of the First World War and Pre-world War I Europe. I thank you for all that. I hope to continue listening and watching as long as there is content. You are right about YT being a cruel task master at times. I have a small cahnnel myself, small being the operative world, but I have many friends who are constantly working on their metrics to try and stay active enough for Youtuble to keep them popping up. at the tops of searches and to attract more viewers/subscribers. One last thing, who is the mysterious Suzy?
Michael Buffa
lol that is exactly what I was expecting. Well, a different pose, but them focus of the piece was what i was exactly my expectations.
Keith Rushforth
Ah I see. I hadn't t considered the You Tube metric stuff. Still I'm glad things are looking up for you.
tenofprime
The patron player is playing an unlisted YouTube video normally. If you can add it to a playlist or get it to show up in your watch history the YouTube app on your TV can find it on those.
tenofprime
I prefer the current setup, having them split between playlists is enough so I can get the right video style for the mood I am in. As for new viewers coming in from the MoM episodes, they always have a link to the gun episode related to them and if you look at the last 5-7 videos on loading the channel you can find good examples of all the content types.
C&Rsenal
Sadly that would destroy our metrics on both channels. Having 2 videos a week has more than doubled our viewership bc YT punishes slow channels.
Keith Rushforth
I love your hand trap stuff, but C&R ought to be just your long form "professional" content. Your "fun stuff", like the hand traps, should be another channel.
Forgotten Weapons
Fortunately, they spelled my name right on the back cover. ;)
C&Rsenal
I'm not so sure on that one...
eRahja
Again great podcast. I think people who like trap series are same people who like podcasts!
Dayton Robbins
That has to be a shirt or poster
Scott Fuller
Thanks for that Zed!
Vincent
I do like the hand trap series a lot and I do not think Patreons bother if the get to watch new episodes sooner than the rest of the world, they just support C&R to have them make more episodes.
Eric McKenney
And then: "do do dodoooo, mae and othias, doing the mail!"
robert j schneider
Sorry I love the Hand trap series . three loony friends out in the field having fun with semi functional antique hand traps 😀 Loads of Fun and Kevin King of Loonies is the cherry 🍒 on top.
C&Rsenal
Yeah that was exactly where I was at. People loved eating up my hospitality but had none to give. I just let them all go and focused on anyone who put in the elbow grease. It's taken years to gather a team of motivated friends. Even then you know the limits and do what you can to pay it back.
lovot
Really not used to being a vocal minority. I really need to find some friends that are willing to just do stuff for fun, i don't mind helping other people, but it seems like my workload just increases until i can't handle it if i help people, i can't rely on anyone to actually show up and stick around to help me in return, so trying to get a group together to get anything done never pans out, so i just end up soloing projects, of course that tends to result in things not getting done very quickly. I'm surprised no one has sent a firearm/hand trap themed dildo just for grins.

Dr. B
Thanks! Wow, that was not what I was expecting!
BillFerShort
Yeah, there's a row of three image links at the very bottom of the post. I missed it for a while, too.
Dr. B
Okay, where is the picture that guy sent you guys? I don't see it on Patreon. Did I miss something?
C&Rsenal
there it is.
C&Rsenal
Tell her I'm sorry, not sorry.
C&Rsenal
I believe it
Drew Rebhorn
I do have to say that the Temple Guardians from LOtHT got kicked a lot, from their own testimony. The kids did their best to not do it, but they did get kicked occasionally.
DaveJD
Atypically, I listened to the first quarter of this podcast with my wife Lisa in the same room because at present it's the only air-conditioned one in our house. She commented that the 'woman' was surprisingly tolerant of being so frequently interrupted and corrected. I pointed out that this was the usual dynamic of these talks, and also mentioned this was the same lady who does the shooting with the beardy guy in the videos I usually watch before bedtime, while she's doing her nightly ablutions down the hall. Lisa said, "Well duh, by this time I know their voices and that other beardy guy with the pony tail as well as you do. It's a little odd hearing them talk without the sound of water running in the sink at the same time though." She doesn't actually listen to what you're saying, but she's OK with my $5/month Patreon donation because your voices help her to unwind before bedtime.

We just got a letter...

I would like to say I forget this app even exists because it's kinda awkward and stuff but I do enjoy being able to help this channel
Drizzle
As far as your comment that traps are less popular than the others; I prefer traps more than nearly anything else, FWIW. Maybe if you did a weapon I particularly enjoyed, but otherwise, traps. Traps. I'll repeat.
Dyloanius Monk
Dropleaf tables are the best. Mine has been the family dining table for decades and the solution for ad hoc maintenance and carpentry workspace.
Kyle Wilson
I enjoy your level of detail and the scope of your material so I bumped up my contribution (a little bit) after the last pod-cast. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll certainly keep watching and listening and keep the my patreon level up.
George Ambrogio
I thought the Browning book was a great read. Sorry I did not read the acknowledgements. Glad to hear you were mentioned.
Andy Oshea
Controversy yes guys, England lost on penalties, am still in mourning lol, loved the chat anyways today, thanks and take care all
John Thomas
I'd say a bit more, since I had no idea that handtraps have the history you three are displaying. :-)
C&Rsenal
Vaguely informative
C&Rsenal
There are some controversies even I fear
C&Rsenal
I am not sure really. I just know it is irksome
C&Rsenal
I guess?
chris stillwell
You just gotta give em both barrels.
John Thomas
The trap videos are outstanding, informative and entertaining.
Christopher Dooley
FWIW, I held off on finishing the RS 121 pre-release episode because I much prefer to watch your videos on the YT app on my TV at home, rather than on my phone or a tablet. I'll have to figure out how to watch the early releases through the TV's web browser. Looking forward to seeing the revolver content and Sophomore-level Bolt Actions.
C&Rsenal
Its a nuisance for sure.
C&Rsenal
Habits are 9/10
Thomas Schrader
I think I may do a podcast intro for you
Orkevino
Hearing about these subscriber issues is really reaffirming my decision to support you on Patreon.
James Zak
I can hear Kevin belly laughing!
Tenacious Trilobite
You're a brave man mentioning a potential Pocket Hammer episode. You're going to be drowning in loan offers again.
Bradwan
Farm on the Range now has 67 subscribers with me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tljWOpCwMNo
Bradwan
The bloke on the farm videos are interesting for me because I like trees and diggers.
Andy Oshea
Know as Americans, proper football is not interesting (soccer) but as the big tournament the Euro 21 was on for a month, hashing any country in Europe in a post would widen the audience.
Leslie Alexander
oh wow, that amazing , so realistic, very much like mae!
Brian Foster
still subscribed on youtube. I haven't ever been "un-subscribed" from any channel. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the overall type of content a person is subscribed to. Meaning.... if you subscribe to 50 cat channels, 22 cooking channels, 47 how to buy hats channels and only one gun channel, maybe the youtube bots unsubscribe the gun channel because that subscription is "obviously a mistake."
MilsurpHandloader
People pull out support because an episode is missed? That's crazy, there is so much content, have some patience people.
Alexander Hickman
The revolver concepts special sounds really cool.
Wayne Dygert
I'm going with "Wait a minute Mr postman" as the theme music for the mailbag segment since copyright law doesn't (yet) apply to the voices I hear in my head
SpaceCowboyfromNJ
Well in the case of the Dip sorry I was part of it, not because I wanted to be, but my credit card info got stolen and with it canceled I couldn't pay patreon the beginning of the month. Then not being state side it took way to long for my new one to get to me.
Gage
The shoutout to C&Rsenal sold me on the book. Just ordered it.
David Axel Hansen
I think the hand-trap series is more a product for the viewer interested in C&Rsenal, not for the new viewer. We love it because it's a recreational break between the episodes of serious stuff we're *really* here for. New folks don't have the context on the people we're seeing on the show.
C&Rsenal
?
Austin Minder
Wait, way does may sensor these?
Austin Minder
Plz bang coconuts together for the intro to get a western sound
Robin Roberts
Why the hate for us miserable old cusses?
Andrew Smelser
I don't understand why I'm still awake. Mae can you explain this to me so I can understand thanks
Gregg Barlow
heyo!
Drew Rebhorn
Do-do-dodoooooo Mae and Othiaaaaaas doin the show
James McKenzie
I heard the intro duet and sprayed a citrus Rip-It across the breakroom. Thank you very much for the sinus trauma. <3
