As an Australian, hearing about the comments regarding mispronunciation is kinda funny. It made me think I should get some popcorn and watch the comments section explode after a video on a British firearm drops. As for the "how did you find us", it was partly the great war, partly project lightning, partly forgotten weapons. What made me a full-time viewer was the sample unloaded episode you dropped. After hearing y'all (I'm in the southern hemisphere, can't get much more deep south than that lol) talk about your challenges and what made you passionate about what you do, I couldn't help but see the effort that goes into each and every episode.

Really like the "Clips" segments, and the "Minute of Mae" is "Fun" to watch/absorb. The "It's A Trap" segments were just a "it's fun to watch" type of thing. Over all I've really enjoyed all of your submissions and have learned a from ya'll. Keep up the great work.

That dam YT algorithm. I only found Dracinifle through my interest in ww2 aviation. And he's awesome. The Great War did a collaboration with Sabaton digging out the historic events behind there songs. I never found out about until I went looking for it. Its called Sabaton History.

Just for fun, I did a little (totally unscientific) YouTube algorithm test just now. 1. Opened up YouTube in a private browsing window, so no account/cookie history. 2. Searched for Drachinifel and started clicking on some of his videos. Eventually saw The Chieftain pop up in the recommendations. 3. Clicked on a couple of Chieftain videos and eventually got recommended some Forgotten Weapons videos. 4. Clicked on the Forgotten Weapons videos and...still no C&RSenal. Even when I clicked on one of Ian's videos (e.g. the T-Gewehr) that was about a gun that there's a C&RSenal video on, it doesn't recommend the C&RSenal video. Whiskey tango foxtrot.... I'm starting to see what you mean about YouTube "sitting on" your channel for some reason.

If by marking fluid you mean something like Dykem layout fluid they sell “dykem remover” and it’s a combination of acetone, ethanol, n-propyl acetate, and isopropyl alcohol. I don’t think it would effect parkerizing because to my understanding that’s basically an etching/forced oxidation and not a coating

Othais, there's always trash everywhere in NYC. It's because NYC Dept of Sanitation refuses to let people and businesses use trash cans or dumpsters, because they exist in an alternate dimension where these things haven't been invented. All of the trash has to be in bags, piled on the curb, which frequently split open, spilling trash everywhere. Sanitation doesn't bother picking up the loose trash if the bag splits open as they throw it in the truck. Some of the trash might be picked up later by the street sweeper. Maybe. It is also why NYC smells horrible all the time and has so many rats. They're finally discussing whether they will run a pilot program, involving overpaid consultants, to see if trash containers are possibly a good idea.

To do the "Hot/Cold" cycle test, you could rent a 20ft freezer shipping container dropped off at the range. I don't remember the weekly rental costs, but its not unreasonable (though I do know that you have tight budget issues). But someone else could do it.

LTE *is* VOIP, as I understand it. Voice-over-LTE, anyway. Sample at 16kHz and send digitally. Compression artifacts on low-quality samples sound like Decepticons, imo.

It's odd when you talk about the BAR. While the external form was outdated by the 1930's, the FN MAG is basically an upside down BAR mechanically. The form factor dies, but the mechanism lives on.
