I'm over in the UK and as such I'm not getting into a whole debate on gun control in the US. I did enjoy the rant on government administrative madness around weapons at the beginning of this episode though. Yesterday I was blocked by my own Internet provider from accessing the Ballistol UK website because I hadn't set permissions to 18 and the site is linked to the use of firearms. Honestly! All this because I thought it would be a suitable product for my good quality bicycles. And sure enough there is a Ballistol product designed specifically just for that! But you should be 18 or over to see that, obviously

I don't recall if it was this episode or this part of the episode, and I don't want to reopen the Ian Ukraine nazi thing again , but I really appreciated the point Othias made about potential consequences for working with certain state controlled museums. It wasn't a point I had considered before and I think it's an important consideration. So thanks!

I love your gun content but why am I so fascinated by the "how the sausage is made" behind the scenes stuff? I know I've added a few Youtube channels and podcasts listening to Unloaded but you guys are great to listen to in the car. If there's anything I could ask for is more info on the gunsmithing you do to get some of these pieces running. P.S. I'm pretty sure the ATF literally makes sure their examiners have the intelligence of a jellyfish so they can make up rules on the fly.

1) The rice maker beeping really confused me because I was trying to figure out what was beeping near me irl because I was listening with a speaker so I didn't know it was from the podcast. 2) Not really knowing how pinfire cartridges worked until you explained it, I had always assumed that the pin was the primer or something so the idea of forcing the pin into a hole during manufacture was making me nervous.
