have to agree. I loved that 78 checkering, too. but that fast loading unloading... grip looks great but way wayyy to thin. with a real late production year that would be a beauty fairly new martial handgun for its kind.

Can confirm, my 82 (10,000 serial range) also has a very heavy pull, but my nagant is beyond horrific by comparison. Never had any issues with the recoil, but I typically only shoot mild wadcutter loads on single action, which is quite pleasant.
