I had this thought when osias was describing the trouble it is to put revolver history in order while also making it readable. What if you did each one separately? Imagine the following: The book is written as it would normally be written. In the back near the index or in the front near the table of contents have a literal timeline. I'm imagining a line with lots of points on it each point being an annotation. Each of those annotations refer to either a section in the book or a specific mechanism that is broken out by chapter or page. In the book text itself you could also have these annotations next to references to these designs. This way you can very rapidly compare where two features exist on the overall timeline without having to break the book up in a chronological order.

As a frequent watcher of South Main Auto (an automotive repair youtube channel), Dorman can be an interesting brand apparently. Glad that the suburban survived the ordeal. Overheating an engine is a terrible experience, especially when you will die if you turn it off π¬

Had a cat once that woke itself up by farting. Confused the hell out of him.

I'm surprised the gas station didn't have any coolant? My Chrysler minivan has a similar annoying plastic heater hose fitting. Dorman sells a pre-made hose with the upgraded metal fitting installed. I had it go on my previous van. I should probably order those parts for my current van that just passed 100k miles. Those British Colts are probably somewhere in the North Sea.
