So, fun fact. I have what's considered the best Merwin Hulbert book and it's frankly confusing, awkward, and doesn't cite sources very well...

Since you were asking, Mae, the gravity math works out to a <4.235 m/s (13.893 ft/s) impact or an impact energy of < 10.134 J. The impact force would require knowledge of the exact impact angle, geometry, component materials, and impact material, so as to generate an effective spring constant. regardless, that isn't a massive impact. A good hit from a hammer would suffice here... Not great.

cylinder looks an awful lot as a lcr. ruger looked for insperation? hey. that thing falling towards the spur still better than one of those new army fullauto sigs.... takes just one fly of stairs! would go no3 russian over that anytime.

I guess the British at this time hadn't heard of a roll crimp
Petter Bรธckman
That's something I'd really like to see too!

I looked all over my can and did not see the tagline: "BALLISTOL: It certainty beats peeing in it"... you need to get them to fix that.

I don't know if I missed this somewhere, but I need a shirt update. Did "Old Guns" sell the most?!?!?!?!
David Herman
ok, now I really wanna see y'all tackle a Merwin & Hulbert double action. the comparison between these two would be interesting, to say the least
