My dad learned at the age of 58 that they were in fact saying Figgy pudding, not Piggy pudding, in the song “We Wish You a merry Christmas”. I can only hope that as a kid he said piggy pudding as a joke and forgot of the years that it was a joke.

Yes. That happened to me recently for no known reason. What gave it away was an estimated route completion of 40+ minutes for a location only a couple of miles away, and taking me down a side street full of stop signs that was paralleling a main thoroughfare. The idiotic stop signs route was what triggered my noticing that the route time was absurd, which led to the discovery it had somehow ended up in pedestrian mode, which I have never used in Gmaps...
