As a certified old fud, we moved south to north for family reasons, I can agree with your advice. The times and games have changed, but no matter what, sitting back and doing nothing won't get you anywhere.At least pick up an active hobby to get your body moving.

I would talk and chat frequently when you had an auto/cycle channel on your discord but I really don't have the knowledge to make a decent contribution most of the time. However when the SoS chat comes up I happily am here when folks need a set of eyes looking for a book or particular part I may come across. Sometimes its okay to just be the guy lurking and reading the old threads without causing a necro or off topic discussion.
