Picked up a 400cc atv, should do the job and if we need to snag an offset mower for the trail edges, we can tow it without issue.

Ooo, this is an interesting idea. I might look into that.

Damn, I finally caught up to the newest podcast........

Probably, thought the FN 1910 is not that far off. I'm more interested on the rest of the list and Mae's overall reasons to each one. Like we knew in the military pistols special the 1911 was the best, but it was still enjoyable seeing all the other ones.

Thought that was already decided [Savage 1907/1917?]

Yeah, I vote for the idea of an special because skipping an episode might kill Othais and his deadset rule of always delivering something on every other Tuesday lol. I dunno, perhaps best pocket pistol in .32 or .380 or similar of the Great War? I think best bolt action rifles or carbines might be a bit too much for now.

Really sorry to hear of the loss of your canine friend. Of course, we all have to believe we will outlive our pets, which usually happens. Its still horrible when the time comes though, and can be grim. But happy to say that my companion cat is 17 and needs a few meds but he's hanging on. And enjoys life. Anyway, thanks as always to y'all. Awesome show and eventually all the complications will unwind for you

When Othias tells us ‘it is driving me crazy’ - you know it is a hell of a short drive !😹

Sounds like what you guys need for the property is a Honda 200 or 250 ATC...see those cheapish quite frequently on marketplace (cause they are rollover death machines lol)

Is there a possibility of a 'behind the scenes' / 'meet the team' video something with less than a days work associated to avoid missing an episode? Something you can record now and sit on until you need to avoid missing a release?

About the battery lug, I have had good success with using pieces of metal paperclips as ‘shims’. Not actually shims I know, but they fill the void and displace the softer pole similar to knurling. Never had arcing issues on a smaller car, so would think it’s suitable for other small engine equipment.

Permethrin works well for quick results. Apply annually (May in our area) once you have done the initial slaughter of those blasted flying chainsaws. I too have heard you can mix the permethrin in with water soluble stains and paint but not tried it as I just spray it on in the dilute form. Some paint and sealers do not seem to slow them down at all. Whitewash seems to work really well. Old, faded whitewash applied decades ago on the eves and rafter tails on some of the sheds around the property seems to still be unpalatable to gnaw through. The old timers had to deal with the same problems and knew. However, that is not a clear coating solution you are looking for.

Hey folks, how about creating an Amazon cart or something like that for things you need that we (I) can fund for you. You mentioned a ladder, tires, carb gasket. Or a way to send you Amazon gift card. Just a thought. Cheers.
