"I can't jump it off the car..." Wait, what? The bike is 12v, the car is 12v. You can jump the bike, just leave the car *off* so its alternator won't blast the bike's circuits. The bike isn't going to draw enough amps to drain the massive car battery, and the circuit just uses what it needs from the 12v source...

Seems like it was more common in the US before the recent import batch. I suspect the old imports were from fresher stock.

The guy saying he has a 1918 push button bayonet mechanism probably has a later refurbed 1918 dated M91 Moschetto. The Italian arsenals used whatever parts they had in stock during the refurb process. And we’ve seen M91 moschettos updated post 1936 where the push button became available. So having a WWI era with a push button is pretty common

Christ with how bad things are going now I don't think I can keep listening. Every podcast is destroying me with how bad things are going. "Hear how we got fucked this couple of weeks" I have to stop listening, I'm already struggling with my own life but hearing how someone I look up to floundering (even though I know how bad things were before with Othias holding up the show on his own before Maye coming in full time) is hurting me...... *Yeah may not be fully relevant to the podcast episode but overall there's a theme
