Cute Romance v5b - Public Release - (Patch 1.81)
🕑 Added 2021-05-19 16:48:22 +0000 UTCSometimes we’ve felt the romance options in Sims 4 can be sorely lacking, or that they’re simply missing interactions that were available in the previous games, so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to convert some old ones and even add a few new animations. Our goal is to hopefully make your game less lackluster in the end and bring back some features you may have missed!
Which interactions are included at the moment?
- Slow dancing (originally in our Interactions From the Past mod)
- Dip kiss (originally in our Interactions From the Past mod)
- Intense kiss
- Bed makeout
- Cuddle from behind
How does it work?
After installing the mod, the interactions will simply appear underneath the romance options when you click on another sim, but note that your romantic relationship with a sim has to have progressed to a certain point for them to show up.
Other things to consider:
- Base game compatible
- No known conflicts, although this mod does override a few bed files. Compatible with our Read Books On Bed now.
- This mod requires Scumbumbo’s XML Injector to function properly. Download it here: https://scumbumbomods.com/xml-injector

How do I install?
Installation is easy; simply extract the downloaded files into your mods folder. Other than that, ensure that you have Scumbumbo’s XML Injector installed, otherwise the interactions won’t show up.

I have a bit of an issue with Dip Kiss: when a sim dip kisses, they get stuck in a loop of the interaction, which fills up the queue well beyond the limit until both sims are reset individually.
Hi! Had this issue with this mod's slow dancing (no other alternatives installed). I originally clicked on Dominik here and picked it, but instead an interaction got initiated with a stranger sim, while Dominik also played a slow dance animation, plus some broken limbs. https://imgur.com/a/i4zp9nW

This is one of my favourite mods for S4 ❤️ I love how well-integrated the options are in the menus, how Sims do some of them autonomously when it makes sense, and how they're sweet but not over-the-top cheesy or too sexy. I've noticed that with the bed makeout option, it's always the initiator who's below. I have a sim romancing several NPCs and it would be cool if there was an option to randomize that. Either way I'd love to see more stuff in this vein! Awesome work ❤️

Since there isn't any slow dancing already in the game, there's no more reason why two mods that add a brand new slow dancing interaction would conflict with each other than any other two mods that add completely unrelated brand new interactions. It's only when two mods both modify the same existing stuff that they're likely to conflict.

omg this is so awesome! can sacrificial's slow dance mod still be used? It's required for another mod that I use so I'd still need it.
