Uh, *why* would you expect any results from putting the original in *oil*, ultrasonic or not to be of any value dissolving the *water soluble* BP salt byproducts clogging up the blind hole? Try giving it the ultrasonic treatment again in warm (verging on hot) water (possibly w/ some alcohol or acetone to reduce surface tension. Maybe some Simple Green?) and see if you get better results. You can always toss it in an oven to dry it out and then redo the Ballistol ultrasonic bath after to make sure it's as protected as possible...
