I honestly feel like I lucked out. November 2021, I sat with my Dr and told him I didn't want kids. Ever. And wanted my tubes removed. No questioning, no bringing my husband into it. He just said "okay, I'll get a referral sent out." December 2021, I was t-boned by a drunk driver. My left side is fucked up and I lost my service dog from it. Before the New Year, my doctor reached out again and said "we have an appt available January 28th. Want it?" You know how people say that you gain new perspective after a traumatic event? Told him "let's do it." I went through Veteran Affairs and honestly thought I would be stonewalled for my decision, but there are some awesome doctors out there. Best of luck to anyone else attempting safe abortions and contraception ✨️

I feel like that's something that's perfectly reasonable to be terrified of. Just wish Alexa would have responded with: here are general tips for mitigating panic attacks. But of course she'd just push for more consumers.
