The T-wist Beta-2

This month I'm pleased to say I am running on schedule and I am able to release the updated T-wist build files, complete with build instructions and parts list. The standard size servo definitely makes a huge difference in terms of noise, making the T-wist quieter than the main axis I reckon, which is a very desirable improvement.
I am very pleased with the build document. I always design these devices to be as simple to build as possible, and in the plans I go through the assembly step by step. My aim is to make these devices accessible to anybody who is willing to have a go at putting them together.
As always the build plans and 3D files are available to my $8 patrons.
This coming month I intend to do a bit more work on the software side of things. I reckon both my VaM plugin and my OSR2 firmware need a bit of attention to bring them up to date.
I may also look at getting another video recorded for my $2 patrons. I was thinking perhaps a show and tell of the T-wist, but do leave a comment and let me know if there's anything you'd like me to go over in more detail.
I'm also prototyping a couple of new hardware ideas, which I can hopefully share with you guys soon. Adding to the OSR2 has been fun, but I reckon at some point I am going to have to come up with a new machine altogether. Watch this space!

If you're taking suggestions for a new device, there are three things I would love to see: 1. An option for active servo cooling (e.g. a mounting option for a 40mm fan). 2. Incorporating the functionality of the nogasm / protogasm: https://github.com/night-howler/protogasm 3. Have the lid on the device be a slide-in rather than a clip-in. After opening the lid several times, it doesn't close securely for me any more.
