February Update

Time for an update on what I’ve been working on recently.
Generally speaking what I’m doing at the moment is supporting the OSR2, developing the SR6, and looking to some interesting future applications.
A few days ago I released an updated OSR2.1 pack. This was a small update but it addressed some minor issues with the pitcher module, and I’ve also extended the troubleshooting section. I intend to keep up with these updates periodically and I am able to do so because of community feedback. Do get in touch, particularly on the discord server, if you ever run into trouble because it really helps me improve and refine the OSR2.
In the next few days I will be releasing this month’s $8 tier release, which will be the STLs for the SR6 twist receiver. I added the software needed to drive the twist servo in last month’s SR6 firmware update, so I’ve made getting the hardware designed a priority. This is essentially the T-Wist capability from the OSR2 transplanted onto the SR6, giving full 6 degree-of-freedom movement. The drive gearing is identical to the one used for the OSR2, but the two-piece receiver parts are a clean sheet re-design.
For my $2 tier I have plans to release a video on the T-Valve. I’ve had a number of people ask me similar questions on this piece of hardware and I think a user’s guide is long overdue. I think it adds a lot to the OSR2 experience, but it needs to be set up correctly to get the most out of it.
Finally, and perhaps most interestingly, I have had a number of people ask me about integrating “nogasm” technology into my machines. For those of you who haven’t heard of it, this is a sensor that can supposedly detect arousal level and predict climax in men. In theory an edge detection device and a stroker robot are a match made in heaven, so I have ordered in the parts for an arduino shield prototype (protogasm) to see if I can make it work. I’ll let you know what I find.
I have also been talking to some 3rd parties who are interested in integrating support for the OSR2/SR6 into their software. I’ll be sharing some more details on that soon.
All in all, thanks to the incredible support I’ve been receiving this project continues to go from strength to strength. These are exciting times!

TBH I think a game changer would be some electronics built in which could automatically detect where the "base" and "head" currently is... and stop before it falls out... and continually recorrect as it gets "longer" ;-) I know you tried before with some tech but this is one thing that needs constant adjustment of the range eg beginning at 200-400 and ending at 100-900 say. Another thing that would be very useful would be some sort of automatic "lubrication" detection... so if it gets too dry it automatically adds lubricant (using iLube system). With the heating system in place (which is essential for me) any lubrication dries up very quickly under the heat.
