Video - SSR1 Demo
🕑 Added 2023-01-26 23:25:06 +0000 UTCThis is the $2 post for January. It's a first look at the Silent Stroker Robot, 1-axis, recorded during my second livestream this month.
The SSR1 is a an experimental design that I will be releasing to you guys in the very near future. It's a single axis machine that uses a brushless gimbal motor and this means that it is an incredibly quiet machine for what it can do.

In this livestream I did a show and tell of the brushless motor mechanisms I am currently working on. These are a planetary gearbox and a single-axis belt mechanism.

Any chance you can put a cover around the moving parts so it isn't requiring being mounted to something? That's also a flaw of the handy. Add wireless to the esp32 and a battery and you're set. Edit: ok I finished the video, the shell comes later. Thanks.
