Hanbin's growth is insane but also proves exactly why I've always ranked him so highly as a vocalist, he is SO impressive!
Jiwoong and Yujin have always grown a lot I was so impressed. I wanted to hear more from Ricky but he really didn't get show much which is a shame! I can't wait for him to be in a group where we get to hear his vocals more.
Taerae ... oh dear. The songs are out of his range and his placement and pitch is still not desirable, it's a shame really but also another group with songs that suit him could do wonders.

I have always enjoyed Hanbin's vocal tone, so it's such a treat to hear him develop as a singer every comeback. And Hao, no words, he's so talented. Could they not leave us a Haobin duet as a parting gift? I actually really enjoy all the vocals in the group. My prediction is we'll see Taerae do something fairly different music wise in the future, perhaps end up in a band since he also plays guitar or maybe go the singer/songwriter route.

I actually really like Jiwoong's vocal tone, and especially his past solo songs, but I can see where you're coming from too. He does add a unique tone to their songs.

And if I say Ricky is top 3 zb1 vocalists for me personally? Idk anything about technique but I love how warm and rich his voice sounds. I would watch a slam dunk recording of him only😂

tbh, I do wish they’d show the takes that made it to the final song. Taerae, for example, had a much better take of his bridge line (@12:23) make the cut and it was finished nicely. With it being out of his range, I do think he’s gotten better at singing his parts throughout promotions, but I hope his practice was done healthily 🥲 Also, I do think he’s gotten better with the tension in his shoulders! They’re not raised nearly as high anymore lol Unfortunately, it’s like they only allow Ricky to SING on the b-sides😕 I’m glad he got more center parts in iconik, but his lines are still barely there. I love Hanbin. that’s it.

It’s actually crazy how they all can sing like that and even yujin sounds good with what he does do and although jiwoong has that odd tone, he makes it work pretty well most the time. I think jiwoong being in a group makes perfect sense because him singing a whole song/album by himself might be too grating, but it’s very refreshing when mixed with other voices.
