Such a good idea to put the transfers on before the red! As someone who has just done it the opposite way around, I'm wondering how to integrate them a little better. Maybe a very thin red glaze the same colour as the highlight?

Placing the decals before your candy coat blew my mind. I never would have thought to try that! I think you absolutely nailed the scheme looking at the color plate. The script legit looks like it's etched into the armor. Beautiful work, as always.
