I still feel like I can't tell for absolute certain if it is Madeline or Ted who yelled "Everything is fine! Don't come in!" to Angela in page 2. Obviously, seems like it makes more sense for Madeline to say that, but the composition almost makes it feel like Ted did. And the idea of him saying such a goofy thing to try to prevent her from being overwhelmed and panicking makes just enough sense to be funny to me.

Madeline coming out of the foam is hilarious, but this episode it's still so sad. Wait. Did Angela's work get wet? I hope she doesn't fix too much on that when whatever is going to happen to Madeline happens.

Angela and Madeline think that Emmy is still being repaired, which is the initial story that Sterling's upper management gave Ted. Ted thinks that Emmy has been sent away to Switzerland to be upgraded to the 2.0 model but he hasn't told the rest of the family yet. Sterling's upper management think that Emmy was destroyed by falling into the incinerator ("Upper-upper Management"), and are now copying her memories into a new model and passing that off as Emmy ("Upgrades"). Marcus has been told the same thing as Ted, but judging by his expressions he doesn't seem to be buying it. Nobody at Sterling is aware of Emmy's true location in Dupont - Emmy is refusing to tell anybody back home about her real location because she overheard Dr Bennet say that they were going to have to send her to Switzerland to be dismantled when they couldn't find the flaw with her ("Pay Phone Part 1").

so far Ted thinks Emmy 2.0 is the original Emmy, but upgraded, the family won't find out until later this isn't the case for sure

Well this turned out exactly how I guessed in the last post, now we just gotta see what color the mixed laundry turns out to get. Though, the mixing might not matter as much, if it just gets bleached white because of whatever she poured in there.
