I love how Emmy and Sockets' interaction exercises "show, don't tell" (well, more or less) about Socket's workout... she can't possibly get stronger, so what's the point? Emmy's dialogue and expression says all of that, then Socket gives us the answer.

I think it's nice of Emmy to try alternatives. But I have a bit of a bad feeling about why. Would Emmy have resorted to following Socket's advice and trying to get into Darcy's level if she didn't need her? Or would she have approached differently? I feel a sense of urgency is making Emmy rush things a bit here, and it's not because she didn't know better. Anyway, I love these scenarios. Emmy's been seing herself in since she's with the outmodes.

This was pretty funny. If there's one thing I've seen in plenty of cartoons, trying to appeal to someone by talking down to their level can really make you look like an idiot.
